Miami shouldn't be on the list.
They slacked off so severely in the that second national title game that a special needs ref was in a position to take it from them in the end.

How do you list Bama? It's not like their run is close to over. Major player, aka top 5 every year for the next several years minimum. They are the top dog right now. May not win it every year but will be in it most every year. Surely the envy of any program at the moment

I agree Bama is the NC can't argue that and that Bama will be near the top for seasons to come but the envy of every team well that's USC. USC is LA, Hollywood, families vacation where we play football. USC is ranked #1 preseason poll with the 2013 recruiting class already considered the best in CFB. Sounds like USC is now everyone's favorite AGAIN. BAMA is a very close 2nd

disagree with you but thats football - Alabama's program is the envy of every team because they win in the toughest conference in college football and have the best college coach in football . they have won a couple of NC lately and are primed to be a factor for years to come . Not a fan at all as i follow UT but just sayin

fair enough but just responding to an earlier post which stated that USC was the envy of every college program and i should have stated that if one program was the envy of every program today it would be Alabama for the reasons i listed

I think if you take Miami's 3 years in the early 2000's (2000-02),
and you take what Alabama has done the last 4 years (08-11),
and combined it, than those 2 together fall just a little short of what
USC accomplished over these 7 years (02-08).Those 7 years being the greatest 7 years in a row that any school has ever produced.
