Which NFL teams will draft a QB

  • phillip740il said...

    definately will
    Arizona
    Kansas City
    Oakland

    Most likely will
Browns - they will have the first overall and weeden is terrible
    Jaguars - gabbert is awful
Jets - sanchez and tebow arent doing anything good
    Buffalo - Fitzpatrick sucks

I dont think Arizona will draft a QB
Kolb has shown me a lot this year
    We need Oline bad

Why would the Eagles draft a QB first though? Foles was a 2nd rounder and looked great in preseason. Why go 2nd then 1st the next year unless you think you blew that pick majorly? Doesn't make any sense.

He was a 3rd rounder, but point still stands.

I'll give you a pass since you don't watch the browns every week. Hell it is hard for me to watch them every week and i'm a diehard. This is the best qb we have had in the expansion era and he is an old rookie. Sad? Yes. Fact of the matter is he has all the tools at his disposal except Wrs that catch the ball. He has improved every week. I will eat shit if the browns draft a qb (not really) they aren't drafting a qb

  • Not convinced Oakland drafts QB high this year. Secondary is flat-out awful, we have zero pass rush, and we need LBs as well. Hoping we grab SS Phillip Thomas from Fresno State in the third if he's available, dude hits like a Mack truck and is leading the nation in picks. Will probably go for either a CB or a pass-rusher in the first.

My bad. Kept thinking Curry went 3 and Foles 2. Had it switched up.

With what they gave up for Carson Palmer, they can't afford to bail on him yet.

That's part of my reasoning. In any case Palmer has been pretty good this year anyways. Secondary and pass rush are desperately needed. We have yet to force a single pick this year and Branch is playing awful, which is part of the reason Thomas is such an attractive prospect.

Has Curry seen the field at all? Ive been working Sundays so I havent seen a ton of action this season.

If I remember correctly, he's been in on a few plays, but hasn't done much of anything. Not the start expected from him at all.

He was banged up in camp I think. Already have a four man rotation at DE going, Im willing to give him sometime

Same here, but there was so much talk about how he was physically ready from the start that I got my hopes up a bit too high. At least the defense looks good, so I really can't complain.

  • I'm gonna say the browns. Weeden is getting pretty old.

  • Might not come in the first round, but I'm confident Buffalo will draft their "QB of the future." Or rather, "QB of the next 3 losing seasons."

  • Hard to say what QB's will go. I think Smith will be a good QB in the nfl if he goes to a team that has a system similar to WVU. Barkley is a good college QB, but like the past handfull of SC QB's that have gone in the first round he too will be a bust. Barkley's no different then Sanchez, Liehardt, Cassel, Palmer, etc... Palmer was decent for a few years, but nothing special. The SC QB's just seem to be soft. Usually SC has a good OLine and the PAC defenses aren't that good so it's easy for them to excel at SC. But they are all pink boys. Once they face preasure, aggrasive defenses they fold. Barkley actually showed a glimpse of how he does under preasure this season when Stanford got in that ass. He choked big time. Smith will be good imo. I really don't see any other first round material at QB, but of course a few more will go. Actually, I think Bray will go first round and I actually think he may grow into a decent nfl caliber QB. As for teams taking QB's definitely KC. They should take Smith imo, but they'll probably take Matty B because they haven't learned their lesson that SC QB's don't succeed in the nfl. The Jags might, but they may give what's Gabert one more season to prove himself. Weeden is getting better, but he's not great and he's old. I actually think Weeden will improve and do okay fot a few few seasons. I'm trying to think who Tampas QB is, but they may be an option. Who the hell is Tampas QB? I'm drawing a blank. Arizona definitely, but I'm not sure if they'll have a high enough pick to get Smith, Barkley or Bray. Then again Az will probably bomb and have a 500 or less season by the end.

Pretty stupid statement there dude. Palmer was well on his way to becoming an elite QB before the injuries started to hit.

As for Tampa's QB.....It's Josh Freeman. Back in 2010 Freeman looked like a genius draft pick. Had 25 TDs and six picks in just his second year. Then he and the team fell apart in 2011 and it's stuck in 2012 so far.
