Alabama doesn't produce "busts" because none of our QBs are drafted highly, so I am not sure what relevance your post has to this discussion. We do just fine with marginal QBs.
For some reason, NFL GMs continue to draft USCw QBs in the first round, despite mounting evidence that it will be a wasted pick. Maybe they havelearned their lesson and will leave Barkley on the board until the mid rounds.

FSU's last QB went 11th and EJ will go at the end of the first round some are saying now. At worst he's going 5th in the 2nd.
And we have two legit pro prospects getting ready to take over with the best supporting cast yet.
