  • If ND loses to usc? If voters try to avoid anther all sec title, who does the voters push?

    Stanford

They have two losses. One of those to a one loss ND.

    ReasonableDoubt

  • Should be Ohio State but I'm hearing the SEC is skeered.

You got Oregon, ND, KSU, and Stanford. Stanford is a better team than when they lost

lol at listing Stanford and KSU, if you are blown out at anytime don't deserve to play for it all. Yes I'm looking at you Georgia

  • If Florida beats FSU, they have wins over LSU, A&M, FSU, and USC(e). Voters would have to have them in the top 5 and the computers all would have them at 1 or 2. I seriously doubt they get jumped. If they lose, it could be any of Oregon, KSU, or Stanford depending on how they finish out.

I wasn't asking who the best team is, asking who will have the better argument for being in the game.

-Oregon likely won't win it's conference
-K State was blown out recently by baylor
-Stanford has two losses, one to ND and likely won't win it's conference
-FSU had a horrible schedule and the computers hate them. Lost to friggin nc state

That leaves ND with the best argument whether they win or lose against USC.

It will all depend on how the rest of the games play out. I think Oregon gets the nod even if they end up 11-1 and out of the conference title game, Bama lets not forget didn't win their conference last year. Oklahoma State had a good argument to go in ahead of them and were left out.

FSU is the next best team with the eyeball test, but I know that is bias to say, even if it is true, but we would need tons of chaos to happen like all teams listed losing another game and a 2 loss SEC team winning the title (GT or auburn wont upset UGA and Bama).

  • That leaves ND with the best argument whether they win or lose against USC.

Uh....no. OU and Stanford are ND's only quality wins. (The Stanford win is questionable since it really should have gone to the second OT.) ND should have lost to Pitt. Any loss to USC looks bad right now. If they don't win at USC, they don't deserve to get in the NC.

  • Oregon. If ND loses, Florida loses (probable), then Oregon is next in line. Even if they don't play in the PAC 12 title game I don't think it will matter. If Bama wins the SEC voters will want to see that matchup. They would also be #2 in the polls (ND, UGA/Bama, Florida all losing).

If Florida beats FSU though I don't think they are kept out (if ND loses). They'll have four top 10 wins compared to Oregon's zero and their computer ranking will blow OU's outta the water.

Can you imagine a UGA/UF rematch? Isn't that far fetched.

  • Gotta go Oregon if it's a non-SEC team.

Otherwise the SEC haters will come out the woodwork because Florida would probably get the nod. Can you imagine Georgia-Florida for it all??

And many people disagree...it's a discussion lil buddy.

I think the nation wants to see bama v oregon tho people will argue against them for not winning their division. They can't make that argument against ND.

Kansas State will likely win its conference in addition to having only one loss, so maybe they will have the better resume.

I said Stanford to try and have a discussion and you dismissed me like an idiot. If they win out and win the division, I think they are the best non-SEC team right now. They beat Oregon at home, USC, and would have best Ucla. Your saying USC beats N.D, so them losing in OT to N.D on a questionable call shouldn't hold them back. Like Bama last year. Let them have a chance

You are going with who you would like to see not who is more likely. A two loss team won't jump a 1 loss K St or ND. Although I don't think ND loses to USC

Yes, but even if ND wins/loses, assuming Oregon wins, Oregon will have an additional game on them. I wonder how the computers/voters will figure and count that.
