Everybody in this thread is talking about recruiting. The post you quoted is me talking about recruiting. Michigan has taken 20 kids with MSU offers since Hoke arrived, MSU could only get 2 kids to go there who had Michigan offers. That's pretty telling to me that MSU is back to playing second fiddle to Michigan in recruiting. Try and follow along, idiot. lol

    OK

I am 100% ok with MSU being second fiddle to um in recruiting, but um is currently second fiddle to MSU in actual football games, and nothing has shown on the field that it will change.

    better?

Ya I just dont think he fits what we need. We have a couple DE higher on our board. I think McCray will be a player at TSUN for sure.

I like McCray at SLB. Put his hand in the dirt if needs be or drop into coverage. He has 8 picks, 3 returned for TDs in the last 2 years.

Glad 4 years are all that matters for you. We might as well scrap our program because we can't compete with MSU... There's a reason you hate Michigan so much, and here's a hint, it's not because you've beaten us 4 years in a row, it's because we dominated you for a century before that but according to most MSU fans that doesn't matter and we should just scrap our program because you guys are top dog in the state. You guys have had a lot of success the past 4 years, no need to act like an immature child about it.

11-2, with wins vs ND, Neb, tOSU, and VT in the Sugar Bowl. Michigan is doing just fine on the field. If you think losing out on 20 plan A guys to your #1 rival isn't going to hurt you in the future, then saying you're an idiot is an understatement.

This thread is about recruiting. The direct question was who do you think could decommit from your team. I thought McCray could if tOSU pushes hard. Based on recent history with Hoke and recruiting, I have no fear of a recruit flipping to MSU.

Not hoping. I am good with our TEs. I read the question being if someone were to decommit who would it most likely be. Someone said RF and I would say OJ IMO.

The question says "your team"...............Kite, OJ may flip, but he is not committed to "your team"nono

Foster is about to switch highschools and come to Alabama. We aren't losing Foster.

Hypothetical question: What happens if Reuben switches high schools to a school much closer to Athens? Would you be worried then?

More worried than now(Which isn't very much). So I would say moderately worried about him switching.

Yeh because the odds that MSU continues to dominate Michigan are so high.

I mean Michigan isn't crushing the recruiting trail, and doesn't hold a 2:1 all-time advantage.

    ???

Michigan was 11-2, MSU was11-3. If this was following one of RichRods 3, 5, or 7 win seasons, then there would be truth to it. As it is, Hoke won a BCS Bowl in his 1st season, I believe he is one of only 3 coaches to do that in their first season coaching a team.

Hoke is killing it on the recruiting trail also, as I have stated already in this thread. He is getting studs in the trenches, the most important position group, outside of QB, imo. A couple examples that helped Michigan and hurt MSU are Bosch and Kulger. Bosch visited MSU several times, MSU fans were feeling good about their chances. He visits Michigan the day after taking a visit to MSU, and commits to Michigan. Kulger was supposed to visit MSU for their Junior day. I heard from MSU fans about how he was their #1 oline guy and they felt he would be Green in the end. Visited Michigan the day before MSU's Junior day, and never made it to MSU after committing to Michigan.

Those 2 examples, plus the other 18 kids who have committed to Michigan with MSU offers since Hoke was hired, will hurt MSU down the road.

I have a hard time believing this. eight commits on one day screams high pressure commit situation, I have to believe somebody is gonna regret their decision over the course of a year (and of course having to witness a fifth straight ass whipping by MSU won't helpcool)

Losing to MSU doesn't define UM's season as a failure though. That would have little effect. How many flipped last year after four in a row? Plus I don't think there are too many UM-MSU recruiting battles this year...

You're right, there isn't. Of the ones so far this year, Michigan leads 5-0.

In the end I think we'll swap Whitfield for Bain which works out best for both teams...

Bain is a monster, but Ill settle for Whitfield

    Would rather have Bain though

A DT class with him and Senat would keep the train at DT rollin

    T.Jones RB

Seriously doubt that. Been scouting/assessing RBs in-depth for almost 15 years. Kid is "the truth" and dominated what was considered the best classification in the nation last year in leading his team to a 14-0 record before losing to Grayson and Robert Nkemdiche in the Georgia AAAAA State Championship. In 2013 he'll be Bama's RB most comparable to Ingram & Richardson in size and skill-set.

Saw him win the 100m dash at a track meet last week and at 5'9, 205 pounds currently.......the people in the stands as well as other athletes competing kept saying they couldn't believe that a kid that swole could beat all the "typical" body-type sprinters because he was so bigger than everyone else in the race.

I'd say Artie Burns or OJ Howard as of now.
