  • Wait, these two stories have nothing in common. Just read the story. Trayvon Martin had no knowledge of his murderer before his murder. Although no one deserves to be set on fire, I doubt that race played a role in this. This was in retaliation for something, since the boys attended the same school.

    Thanks. But if they did this to a women and said “Die B****”, would that mean it was gender that motivated the crime? Or was that just something they said in the process? Again not justifying their actions just saying that I don’t think race was the main factor in this particular case. This looks like retaliation to me.

    Are the police looking for those people in the story you linked?

    The police KNOW who shot Martin, but he hasn't been brought into custody. If this was JUST about the racism part, or JUST about the shooting, it would've come out a month ago. But since the police haven't done shit, and have had plenty of time to do shit, THAT is the issue. That, combined with everything else, is making this a huge deal.

    So unless the police department has acted like they don't give a shit about who burned the boy in your story, these two cases are completely different.

    Not their jurisdiction,but I know DOJ is raining all hell down on their incompetency. I think the state is doing something as well, but from a legal standpoint,I'm not sure if anybody but the city can bring the murder charges up.

    You really think that making it as, an athlete or a musician is better than the many socioeconomic advantages that White kids have in this country? Name me one advantage the majority of black kids get that the majority of white kids don’t get.

    I wouldn't say more but equal.

    I have a relative who runs a large company in Canada, pretty much admits if a minority and white have equal resume, the minority would usually run out.

    As disgusting as it sounds (almost treating ppl as objects by having quota IMO), these corporations have a quota for minorities, disabled, women in positions of power and overall.

    No kids have socioeconomic advantages by being white or a minority. If you have connections doesn't matter race. If you have a good education doesn't matter race.

    Obviously being rich is an advantage, but that has nothing to do with race.

    It’s not a stretch, to say that White kids are better of than Black kids in this country? So by them usually having better socioeconomic conditions it is much easier for them to prosper. Wealth has nothing to do with race, but the majority of the wealthy and powerful in this country are white.
