  • Sakerlina has. Clowney Is running a 4.5 at 270. Qbs beware (looking at you Aaron Murray). Alshon Jeffery's lil bro might be ready to bust on the scene this year also. That's about it so far.

  • We are running a 5-2 double eagle as a base and the kids seem to love it. Looks like Kiffin stopped the NFL approach to reduce injuries by practicing soft and at a slow pace, so we might tackle or block someone this year but thats still TBD.

    McQuay is playing CB but people are saying he will be moved back to FS. Agholor and Leonard Williams are probably our second and third best players. Our starting LT last year Max Tuerk who was a true frosh moved to C.

    Cody Kessler is going to win the QB job IMO, not Max Wittek (started vs ND and GT)

  • Nebraska has. Spring Game on 4/6 on BTN.

    RB1, Ameer Abdullah, got injured last week. Unfortunately, we won't know much until Bo meets with the media again.

    Offense ought to be stout. Defense... It's going to be bad. So, so much youth. Lost seven starters from last year, and there aren't a ton of upperclassmen in the wings. DL is a disaster.

    Tray Matthews is absolutely ready to step in and start physically. If he can pick up the playbook, UGA should be OK there.

    I fully expect Reggie Carter to be starting at ILB by week 4. Dude was so underrated by recruiting services. Carter and Matthews are already running with the ones some.

    Johnathon Rumph will be a player for us at wideout this year.

    John Atkins and Chris Mayes will play a lot on DL. Atkins spent this fall at Hargrave, Mayes was a JUCO guy.

    Most of the other guys will redshirt or play special teams mostly.

  • Davante Adams is thoroughly embarrassing our DBs, but that's par for the course...and they aren't exactly awful DBs.

    Holy shit we're banged up though...our #3,4,and 5 WRs are down, 2 starting LBs are dinged, and our #2 CB and the leader for the RB spot are being held out the rest of the way as a precaution. Oh, and Carr is still recovering from surgery.

    Leonard Williams is a stud, Nelson Agholor is a stud, McQuay will be a stud and will probably be starting by seasons end and Quinton Powell, depending on his weight and how he does during fall camp, will see time as a freshman at the Predator position. If Buck Allen continues to show the progress he's been having in spring and if it improves when the season starts he'll also see significant time.

    Florida also gave us Mike Williams. So like I said, Florida has been good to USC. peace

  • Yes spring ball has started. It's amazing, all those bench players from last year that are starting this year are unbelievable. And all those guys that stunk last year, have worked really hard and are going to be awesome now.

    Rivers wasn't really from Florida IIRC, only lived there for a few years of high school
