Who are the most overrated players in each pro sports league

  • BamaLivesFootba said...

    roflmao at Jeter.

Yes I know Yankee fans hate to see him being picked as overrated, because he captained those world series teams, but how much did he contribute on offense since he has been in the league. He is a great defensive player, but average offensive player.

Then what are you basing it off of? Because either you're trolling or you have no idea what you're talking about.

IMO Peyton is the best QB I have seen in my lifetime, but he hasn’t exactly been money in the playoffs.

NFL- Mark Sanchez NBA- Greg Oden (if that even counts) MLB- Hanley Ramirez

Completely agree with Sanchez...wow the two most overrated players in the league are playing on the same team.

Didn't know career .314 with 3000 hits is average. Guess not hitting 600+ HRs makes you better than average. Thanks for informing me.

Next one is most underrated, I got a couple people in that category.

I haven't heard anyone say Mark Sanchez is even remotely good.

Hey Trojans, LSU's 74 are better than your 75.

    3,000 hits, 1,200 RBI, 1,800 runs, .314 average, 4 silver sluggers. That's a lot of offense production.

If he was as good as advertised he would have way more SB rings. GOATs dont ish the bed like he does in the postseason.

I'm not going to get started on LBJ. But you are just so wrong on Crosby it's not even funny.

Check his points per game his last two years.

He has 103 points in his last 63 games. Malkin had 109 in 75 and won MVP this year. Crosby is far and away best player.

  • NFL - Brandon Marshall(average receiver that might play as the #3 receiver in the slot for Pittsburgh)
NHL - Ovechkin(Yes, Alex. You are a great sniper. He doesn't deserve the dick sucking he gets because he doesn't have the all around game like Sidney.)
MLB - Eric Hosmer(Got a lot of attention late last season, and delivered. He has sucked this year BADLY).

He's overrated. He should be soo much better in terms of production.

Jeter has the least amount of range of any shortstop in the game and has for the past decade, he's maybe average defensively. Maybe. He's good, but I agree he is way overrated. Then again, I hate the Yankees more than Satan himself.

I can understand not liking him as a person, but Bron’s is without a doubt the best player in the NBA. I think people forget sometimes that MJ and “Tragic” Magic were viewed very much the same as Bron when they were in their career before they won a title.

So great players with only ONE ring are considered overrated? That makes zero sense.

  • LULZ @ Tebow being overrated!

The guy had 90% of the sports talking heads thrashing him all season. Overrated = people saying you are great, when you really are not. Aside from Bayless, who says Tebow is great(in the NFL)?

I agree with whoever said Brandon Marshall.

And why has he been afraid to enter the dunk contest since he's been in the league?

Brandon Marshall is highly rated because he has a unique skill set, his hands are terrible but there isn't a wide receiver who is feistier or harder to tackle 1 on 1 in the league.
