Barron was the best tackler on the best defense in the country. Guy is a human form tackler.

Yeah that's from a show they did in Pensacola last year. Best live show I've seen.

I thought it was them because I could recognize Tim Lambesis' muscle shirt and tattoo sleeves. I saw them last spring, insanely good. They played with After the Burial who were also great.

  • Yep After the Burial and Winds of Plague. There were 400+ crammed into an American Legion Hall. Only show I've left with more bruises was The Red Chord

Yeah the concert I was at usually holds about 300 people and there were about 400 people there, then AILD came out and everyone crammed to the front, needless to say I left with a bunch of bruises and scratches.

  • Wow it seems like if you name a SEC played SEC fans get offended, and throw in they played in the best conference so they will dominate the NFL. Like no players from the SEC have never played horribly ion the NFL.

I don't care when they get drafted. Just don't think they're worth a first rounder (besides Alshon).

I think Alshon is a great playe, but I think he takes off way too many plays. Sometimes he doesn't try that much. I'd take him the first round, but not anywhere before the 20th pick.

    Kirkpatrick-Maturity issues, character issues

Barron-Not very fast, goes for the big hit instead of a solid tackle. Coverage skills are suspect

Misconception IMO. He didn't take plays off as much as he would stop when the protection broke down out of frustration because Garcia sucked. He picked it back up when they started letting Shaw throw.

Watch any of Lattimore's longer runs, you'll see Alshon blocking downfield. WRs who take too many plays off don't block.

Fair enough. You know him and the team better than I.

I have no problem if you attack a part of someone's game that is a weakness. Example for Alabama guys, sinced that's my team. Dre didn't have a lot of picks at Bama, so there are questions about hands and instincts. Upshaw may not be fast enough to run with fast TE's and backs. You can even question Barron's speed possibly.

But to say Mark Barron isn't a great tackler is crazy. He was only 2nd, 1st, and 2nd in 2009, 2010, and 2011 respectively for the top defense in the nation during that time period. A defense that doesn't miss many tackles mind you.

Dre Kirkpatrick, Alshon Jeffrey, Mark Barron, Lamar Miller, and Jordan Jenkins

i dont agree with michigan fans a lot lol but this is a great list of dudes who i agree with that will be bust.

mark barron- a great college safety such as mike doss use to be, but it wont translate to the nfl.

alshon jeffrey- only because of his weight. with that said he could be hell of a tight end though.

lamar miller- hes fast but i just dont see first round talent when i had watched him play.

jordann jenkins- he might actually be worth it. i wouldnt mind my browns getting him if he at the 22nd pick.

dre kirkpatrick- his game dont impress me. not hating. him and barron overrated.

Correction. I never said that Barron wasn't a great tackler, but that he seems to go for the huge hit instead of wrapping up sometimes

It'll never get paid off....But I'd bet any amount you'd like that Jeffrey doesn't end up a tight end.

In fact, I'd bet a good amount that he ends up matching Hines Ward's numbers (floor of his career, imo)

It's like Clowney qualifying for college. No matter how many legitimate sources come out and how much just straight up contradictory information is provided, there's always gonna be a few stragglers coming out of the woodwork who heard it from some guy who heard it from his cousin and for whatever reason, they're going to believe blatantly false information.

I mean, AJ got on a god damn scale at the combine that said otherwise and people like this guy choose to believe tweets from no-name sources and a photograph over his actual weight.
