    Umm Trayvon's father lives there and he was staying with his father IIRC, therefore he was not trespassing.

    Also Zimmerman was not a security guard, he is a volunteer neighborhood watch person.

    2. Trayvon was a guest of a member of the gated neighborhood. That is not tresspassing.

    He still initiated the confrontation, without which he would have no wounds and Martin would be alive. And again, he could easily have done that himself.

    If he can't prove Martin did it to him, how will it help?

    DO you believe this guy is saying George Z was a securtiy guard???LOL..That shits crazy...So I can grab a 9 and call my self the Forest Lakes Commuity securty guard today?? Is that all it takes? Thats the craziness of the right..They'll argue anything to protect this guy while telling everyone else not to jump to conclusions. We shouldnt jump to conclusions but they can make this crazy libray cop wanna be a security guard?

    No, the state still has a the burden of proof. They need to prove that it wasn't self defense. And for a 2nd degree murder, they have to prove that Zimmerman assaulted Martin. Following Martin around isn't assault.

    The state is going to have a really hard time here unless someone testifies that they saw Zimmerman attack Martin first. I haven't heard that anywhere (actually, we have all heard the opposite).

    Personally, I don't care what happens. From everything we have heard, Martin was a thug and Zimmerman was, at best, a violent/short tempered person (and he was probably at least a little racist). Add these two to the many of idiots who get themselves in bad situations each day.

    I couldn't care less about this case.

    Easy for me to get sidetracked on this, as there are just so many confusing and conflicting accounts. I kind of agree with what the OP said, but not completely. Maybe I just don't like the OP.......Oh, hell I'm the OP. Never mind.

    Seriously, there are just so many issues with this whole thing. Oddly enough, Zimmerman stands a good chance of getting off, based on the Stand your ground law. Many think the law is very poorly written, and offers Zimmerman an out. Hard for me to grasp, but even if Zimmerman started the fight, if at some point he was losing and in fear for his life, that law allows him to shoot Martin and call it self defense. Yes, the law is crafted so that you can basically start a fight and if you are getting your ass whooped, then you can pull out a gun and shoot the guy you started the fight with. Insane
