I would much rather have the staff that worked together to produce two national championships at UF and an undefeated season at Utah. But I guess that's just my UM homerism coming out.

The staffs weren't exactly the same for both championships though, right? I believe Mattison was gone by the time they won the second. I get your point but no staff stays together forever. Some people think Meyer is a coach who's completely dependent on his assistants. Other people believe that's simply rivals (or scorned fans from a previous program) grasping at straws. I guess we'll find out.

They sounded like they meant the fact you play a lot of games inside the state of Florida, not that your schedule is easy

Oh and this Savannah St team looks like the worst team FSU has ever played or that I have seen them play

Our first team will be out of the game midway threw the 1st quarter

Ok, if that's the case. Just clarifying. I'm in no means ever saying UF has hard OOC opponents. But our SEC schedule is always tough. Someone mentioned Ol' Miss, Miss state, Vandy, and UGA as not tough. Well, we don't play the 2 from Mississippi, Vandy is improved with Franklin at the wheel and UGA won 10 games last year. Last season we had the last 3 National champs in a row. No fun at all!

Yeah I don't think UF plays an easy schedule, especially compared to FSU

But its kinda weak how you play a total butthole right before us cool gives you a chance to rest and prepare more

Smart though, we should just do it as well

No, they weren't exactly the same. And his staff changed again when he lost Charlie Strong and Dan Mullen. But that's precisely the point. You brought up his staff, not me, and you proclaimed his OSU staff better than his UF staff. Maybe you meant his UF staff after he lost all of his best assistants, in which case who knows, you might be right. Then, again, it's not the highest bar in the world. On the other hand, if you meant the UF staff in any year from 2005-2008, it certainly doesn't look like it based on their actual coaching accomplishments. But you're entitled to your opinion.

i would say clemson, they have out of conference games with auburn and south carolina as well as the acc schedule if they somehow can manage to get through that undefeated they could sneak in, it would really depend on how alot of other schools do as well, also west virginia this is the first year in the big 12 and michigan state there first game of the year is against boise state, if they beat boise and boise does well this year it will help mich state as long as they get through the big ten they should have a pretty decent strength of schedule, alot of this depends how other teams do this year

    Not a chance.

clemson has alot of talent to replace, and after the Orange bowl last year i doubt they would get any votes to go. im not trying to bag on clemson, just looking at it from a real point of view.

Yeah there is no way in hell Clemson wins a national championship next year

That is almost as crazy as picking Miami to win the ACC right Lamp ?

One of my favorite stats is that Clemson gave up more TD's than Alabama gave up the entire season in one game.

No way UM or MSU go undefeated.

I like either UGA , FSU, or WVU vs. USC or the SEC champ, as my sleeper picks.

Wait...are you saying the SEC champ is one of your sleeper picks? huh
