    That's because they share something more important than hating eachother. They hate Florida. They both can't stand that they are not the big state school and aren't the one that school controls so much of what happens in the state. Nowadays, it comes easy for Florida is just about every sport and Miami and FSU are doing everything they can to keep up. The issue is that they just don't have the suport or the money to do so at the same level that Florida can these days. It's the whole mentality. You hear FSU and Miami fans brag about the Big 3, but Florida fans couldn't care less about the other 2. It's all about Florida....and frankly, Miami doesn't really even exist to them anymore, which makes it worse.

    Note: I am not just talking about football...or just sports for that matter.

    Yeah I don't know about that. Technically we're bigger rivals with Iowa/Minnesota, but Ohio State is easily the most annoying fan base.

    If God dwells inside us, like some people say, I sure hope He likes enchiladas, because that's what He's getting

  • now that we're rid of aggy, i don't know that we really have any truly obnoxious fanbases.

    we're not recruiting head-to-head vs ou much anymore, so a LOT of that shlt-talking has gone away over the last couple of years.

    baylor fans know their success last year could be fleeting and they haven't been crowing like fools.

    tech is back in their corner after back to back crappy seasons.

    the only osu posters i see here are einstein, and he's usually just stirring the pot. the ones on shaggy are pretty levelheaded guys.

    the mountaineers seem pretty confident, but i don't see any crazy bs from them at all.

    tcu has a reputation for getting pretty mouthy w/ any success, but they've been silent for the most part. i feel like they know what's coming and they aren't up for inviting karma.

    isu, ksu, ku - can't say i currently know a single grad from any of these schools, nor do i see any of them on any msg boards w/ any frequency. i do miss fatty4ksu/fattyfatfat - that guy was one of the funniest shlt stirrers in the history of cfb message boards. good lord that kid had a lot of fun at the longhorns expense over the years. rip fatty.

  • Don't remember it, but when I was three my dad took me to the citrus bowl vs Ohio State. We came back from the game and found te windows of the car smashed and OHIO STATE spray painted down both sides of the car.

    Place where I'd be most scared to go-- Bama. I know they have a lot of cool fans, but most of the stuff that I've seen come out of that state is weird.

    Most annoying-- I'm sure everyone here knows because if you've played them they will just take over your board. USCjr

    Agreed so I will go with fan bases I've experienced other than rivals.

    1. Florida State - Extremely cocky, douchey, trashy. Very much like Jersey Shore cast members. They also have the worst cheer ever and they do it constantly. Spelling out Florida State and then putting a Ric Flair "wooo" at the end? Not creative, takes too long, gay.
    2. Virginia Tech - Also very trashy. I'd say trashy more than anything else. Seem poor. I don't think I saw a VT fan in a collared shirt all weekend.
    3. UCLA - Mostly sweaty Mexicans wearing wife beaters and verbally accosting us as we entered the Rose Bowl.

    I head some stories that were not very flattering about your fanbase as well...one takes it with a grain of salt, but you present a strong argument to believe it.

    Traveling as much as I have through your region, one finds the loveliest people around, but you also have a larger than average amount of people like this...it appears you fall in this half...

    We don't exist to UF anymore because UF is a bunch of pvssy's and took us off the yearly schedule. Sorry we can't "compete" with Florida...oh ya 5 > 3

    Dad went to the 95 title game and said beyond being completely embarrassed by the beat down, Nebraska fans were shaking hands and consoling gator fans after the game. Always heard they have the nicest group of fans out there.

    It's true. Pretty large Husker fanbase in Phoenix and are the most hospitable group I've been around.
