National championship game showed he can become a great player but I agree that he is last on that list.

Murray or Wilson. Bray has those two stud receivers, and I'm not saying wilson didn't have good ones last year, but Arkansas lives off passing, especially last year and Wilson and Murray are above Bray. Not really sure why McCarron is on the list. He is not going to beat you with his arm, not saying he didn't do a good job of managing games last year, but if Alabama's run game kept defenses and check and helped him tremendously

They're all good QBs. Bray probably has the most potential but he makes a lot of questionable throws. Wilson plays for Arky so he has no chance of being a winner but he's a solid player. Murray always sh*+s the bed in big games. A.J. is great at doing his job. If he went out and threw it 40 times a game i feel like he could put up numbers comparable to these other guys.

Absolutely. But it's going to take more then one game to seriously consider him as one of the best QB's in the SEC.
I was very impressed with A.J. in the NC. He was hitting those corner route's dead on which isn't an easy throw.
Just need to see it happen more.

I didn't say he was the best player. I was using the argument that people use when debating Manning vs. Brady. I personally would take Peyton all day but many people say rings are all that matter when ranking QBs.

Right. He proved he has the potential to be the guy in the NC. Now he just has to show consistency at that point

I agree he isn't the reason we won the NC but he played a part. I'm not sure we'll ever have a QB under Saban that is the "reason" we win the NC. Saban's gameplan is always going to be run the ball and play great D.

Check Aaron Murray's stats and record as a starter against Top 25 teams. I'll take AJ over Murray and Bray All Day. I'd probably Tyler Wilson #1 followed by AJ at #2.

I would go:
Wilson
Murray
McCarron
Bray
I think Wilson is hands down the best qb in the SEC. Murray has struggled against tough competition, but I will concede he is better (at least fundamentally) than the other 2. Bray and McCarron have shown flashes, but need to establish consistency this year to earn a spot next to those other 2 guys.
I don't get why some of you say AJ is not in the same league as Tyler Bray. They seem pretty comparable to me, and from what I've seen AJ has been slightly more consistent and has displayed better accuracy (although he may have not been asked to do as much as Bray was last year).
