Not sure who my favorite is so I'll just share a quick story. My first event was 24 years ago in Columbus, MS. Lord Humongous was introduced that night and scared many of kids when he came out of the locker room. He later went on to become Sid Vicious. Rick flair fought Wild Cat Windle Cooley, a local favorite and it was beyond epic. Adrian Street was there as well and he was a character if there ever was one. (He was notorious for licking the palm if his hand then pretending to wipe the refs butt with it). An hour after the show was over we saw everyone mentioned above getting gas at a local 7/11. I thought they were enemies in real life and till this day it pisses me off that I had to see that at such a young ago.

Curse them for breaking kayfabe. My uncle was a manager at a gym near Hershey PA back in the day & they would always use that gym when they were in town & he said they were all pretty much cool with one another. Even though they were blood enemies on TV lol.

He was the ish in the mid to late 90's until he got hurt. He could put on a 5 star match with anyone & was always entertaining. I was a huge HBK mark back then.

As you know the best Wrestlers are the ones who make you look better than you are which is why everyone wanted to work with the HBK. Although that era is gone there's no question today that Dolph Ziggler put in his homework and does a better job than anyone at selling almost every move to the point he makes average wrestlers look better than they are when selling their moves. Dolph could and would have fit in just fine in the attitude era.

Hulk Hogan. Watching him "hulk up" when ish looked bleak, followed by the three punches, big boot, and then the atomic leg drop was something that made my day when I was a kid. It was like watching Rocky Balboa dig down and find a way to beat Ivan Drago, Clubber Lang, Apollo Creed, etc. I will admit I was pretty pissed when I went to see my first wrestling event as a child and Hacksaw Jim Duggan had to fill in for Hulk Hogan as Sgt. Slaughter's opponent in the main event (allegedly Hogan was in trouble for drugs or juice or something). I don't get the love for HBK. He is a wrestling legend and great performer for sure, but he's a bit of a weasel as a person (unless finding religion changed him). The way he handled the Montreal Screw Job and bitched out when Bret Hart confronted him was pathetic. That will always be a major black mark on him IMO.
