Who is your favorite wrestler of all time?

Russo sucks. He did however help create the Stone Cold character. He actually had some great ideas, but in WCW he never had a boss to override his storylines. In WWF he had that in McMahon. WCW, he did not.

Russo hopefully never again surfaces in pro wrestling.

I was talking '96 and '97. Those two years, WCW owned the market, and it wasn't close. Austin took over in '97 and '98. I believe he had his bad injury in either late '98 or early '99. Sting was bigger than wrestling during '96 and '97. That is not debatable.

But, I will say... Ratings and merchandise aren't everything. WWE has much better ratings and sells more t-shirts than TNA, but WWE's product is dog shit compared to TNA, and has been for over a year right now.

Sting vs Vader may be my favorite rivalry of all time. Insanely good matches.

  • I'm 30-years old. Anyone around my age knows there is no question the two biggest names in the sport were Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior during our childhood primes.

I was a Hulkamaniac! That was my dude!

Man I miss the innocence of getting the next Summer Slam or Wrestle Mania on PPV, having parents order Pizza Hut and listen to Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse "The Body" Ventura call the action! I'll still occasionally watch a classic match on YouTube.

Monsoon and Ventura were great together. Monsoon and Bobby Heenan on Prime Time Wrestling was the best commentary duo ever though: "Would you stop!?"

  • TNA has been pretty good the first 30 minutes. Angle vs. Devon was entertaining. Its amazing how Angle is STILL one of the best in-ring performers today.

Want to see if there is anything with AJ Styles tonight. Not sure if he is going full blown heel or not. Aries vs. Hardy for the World Title will be fun to watch. Those two always tear the house down.
