    He had 4 SEC teams, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, and Arkansas, all rated ahead of Alabama.

    once you get past the top 5, and especially the top 10, you'll have some wide ranges. voter opinion goes all over the place.

    fsu had a range from 2-24. almost top spot to unranked.

    Yeah, overrating the weaker teams in the SEC helps the winner of the SEC point to more victories over ranked teams at the end of the year.
