Offensive Outlook
Look for Alabama to run a very balanced offense next year with more solid QB play from McCarron and a better overall group of WR's and TE's. We will still feed the rock to a very good stable of RB's with Lacy getting the majority of the carries. The line will be one of the best in the country as we have this years Outland winner moving to center and return 4 out of "6" starters. Two linemen pretty much split the starting job this last year.

Defensive Outlook
This defense is loaded with talent. As much as anyone in the country. The D-line should be better this year(and that is saying a lot) the LB core is not going to be as good because lets face it you can't lose Hightower and Upshaw and be as good. Still they will be very talented. The secondary will be worse but will not by any stretch be bad. Lester coming back REALLY REALLY helps. He will need to step up to lead as will D. Milliner. We will have some growing pains early but watch out for this defense later in the year.
Special Teams
P-C. Mandell K-A. Griffith(Thank you lord) Shelley def has improved and will stay but IMO Foster needs to be as Devidee says "Processed"
Unit Outlook
Better than this year but not just crazy good. Will not be a weakness by any means.
Total team outlook
We will have growing pains on the defense early on but if we can get by Michigan and Arkansas then this team will be REALLY dangerous. Now on to the battle with LSU...obviously they want to make us pay. They lose some good players themselves but also bring back talent. They do lose the one thing that allowed them to beat us these last 2 years. Jefferson....call me crazy but if he is not a running threat the two times before the most recent game then we beat then by 10. This game will be close but I believe that LSU will pull it out because it is in Death Valley(even if we have been really good there). Total record 11-1.

H-back will be a very good position to watch with Brad Smelley being an athlete that can catch out of the position..watch for a few people to try and fill his spot and maybe we can get some of the talented backs like Yeldon and Hart in with Lacy!
