From the reaction Tressel got on Saturday, it sure seemed like just about every fan would have loved to be on the field carrying him off into the sunset. If you are in the minority, then I applaud you.
So I am not sure the point of your post. But since Michigan is yet to invite back Fisher or Webber, I don't really see the comparison to the Tressel celebration. The university had nothing to do with the documentary that was made. That was Jalen Rose's pet project.

For the record I was nauseated by the carrying of Tressel. I understand why the 02 players did it...but the fans applauding was too much.

I was cheering the team that gave me a lot of great memories. There was some real concern that Coach Tressel would get booed. Message boards are so black & white. There is no grey area. In real life there is lots of grey.
I think I (and I'm sure many others) can differentiate between celebrating a great Ohio State team and what the leader of that team did years later.
