Do I know the guy? No. Forget the whole modeling thing. I've watched at least 100 Brady interviews over the years and IMO he comes across as calm, collected, soft spoken, humble (for the most part) and just a guy who honestly loves the game of football.
What gives?

I don't. But that is a good question. Maybe because he is great, is a millionaire & has a super model for a wife. I don't get it either. But hating isn't in my personality. Same can be asked of Derek Jeter as well. People love to hate him too.

I respectfully disagree. Brady's best season was 50 TDs, 8 int, 4800 yards in 2007. Montana's best season was 26 TDs, 8 int, 3521 yards in 1989.
I'll take the 2007 Brady if I have to pick one for one game. Speaking of, how awesome would it be to see the 89 niners and the 07 patriots face off?
Edit: just realized that Brady had 201 more pass attempts than Montana in this comparison. That has to be accounted for.

Montana never lost the big one, I'll take that. That would be a great game. Would have liked to have seen Bears against one of those teams too. Crazy how much the game has changed. Montana's best season wouldn't crack top 6 or 7 these days.

At ND, Montana as a senior had 10 TDs, 9 Int and 2010 yards in 11 games in 1978. AJ McCarron as a junior had 30 TDs, 3 Int, and 3000 yards in 13 games and he's considered a "game manager".
