My rivals smell.

They (Clemson fans) have the most misplaced sense of accomplishment and self worth of any fanbase I've ever encountered. Any Clemson fan will tell you:

-They are one of the top public universities in the country
-Dabo Swinney is a true leader of men and is the epitome of class.
-They have had some of the best recruiting classes the last ten years
-They are a top ten all time football program
-They are one of the most recognizable teams in America
-If Danny Ford had not been unfairly fired he would have been as good as Bear Bryant
-Running down the hill in Death Valley is unquestionably the best tradition in college sports
-They are better than any SEC school because they have higher academic standards and don't let everyone in
-It is no surprise elite out of state players want to come to Clemson because there is something magical about the campus. It truly is "God's country" and "there is something in those hills"

I am not bullshitting you. I have several close friends who are current Clemson students and have other acquaintances that are lifelong Clemson fans. I have heard many of them say all of these on several occasions.

and we do with AU. Then we here the fans say how great they will be and how they will be 10-2 at worst and I start hating again.

Just cuz you have 1 great year with an amazing athlete in Cam Newton, then you lose him Fairley, Stevens and alot others, you think you will continue to be on top?

Newsflash, you need coaches to make those players great. So you lost your OC to ASU and DC to PSU and brought in 2 more guys who yall have to be OPTIMISTIC on and you think your back on top. With a mediocre Oline and mediocre QB. Good WR, and ok RB's since Onterrio is situational. and a Def. that will be ok but has looked like shit in the past, (watch last year) same guys, and yes some don't get any better and some do.

What Im trying to say is as an AU fan, be happy, but don't speak until you actually win on a consistent basis and be cautious on this year. Thats what gets you respect, if you want it that is.

Honestly, I used to dislike RCMB, but after looking over at Bucknuts, I can't even muster up more than apathy towards RCMB. I also used to dislike PSU a ton, but after wandering over to their board and realizing that they actually have reasonable posters who don't just flame/downvote the hell out of you just for showing up, I actually don't mind them at all.

Top Ten: in no particular order...Alabama, USC, Ohio St, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, FSU, Miami, and probably Florida.

Maybe PSU, or AU or Tennessee but Clemson is not even in the top 20!

and Danny Ford being half as good as the Bear? Nobody was as good as the Bear, who has won 6 titles?

Touching a rock and running down a grassy hill? Iam a Bama fan and Ive heard Tiger Walk at AU is more exciting than that shit! Plus its the SEC which is way more important than the ACC in football, just saying the truth.

Yeah I don't have a problem with PSU fans either. And I actually respect OSU fans more than I do MSU fans, because I know a few sensible OSU fans. I've never met a MSU fan who is respectable.

Its a message board lol I try not to sound like a Dr. on here because I have to be serious all day... I mean honestly academic rankings are full of spit... I would never go to any of the schools I got into because I don't want to get taught by a teachers assistant... I came to FSU where the professors care about your future... I went to visit Princeton and the students told me you would be lucky to see the Professors once in a semester... I don't like that... I mean FSU got me into Med school so it was obviously the right decision...
