Why? It's no worse than the NCAA knowing that "Worldwide" Wes shuttles players to him. This is even more legal imo. Basketball recruiting is so filthy that the NCAA can't stop it. AAU is their doing and they have to live with it. They allowed the shoe companies to get heavily involved and can't go back now. It's awful coincidental that his schools only get caught after he's gone. Enjoy his run while it lasts. I will and I'm a UConn basketball fan.

I just watched some film and that kid is pretty damn good. Gotta hand it to Coach Cal for doing anything to get the best players for his program.

What about the under 18 team that is coached by:
Head Coach: Billy Donovan, University of Florida
Assistant Coach: Mark Few, Gonzaga University
Assistant Coach: Shaka Smart, Virginia Commonwealth University
Team Physician: Eliot Young, San Antonio Spurs
Athletic Trainer: Dave Werner, University of Florida
Although I will say that there is not a player on that team going to any of these three coaches, but that is more dangerous then the Dominican republic Olympic team.

So does the NCAA have a major issue on their hands if any of the top 80 kids who were at the Lebron skills academy in Vegas, which was attended by coach K by virtue of his being the USA coach go to Duke? I highly doubt Cal is solely coaching the DR just for this kid, who is 3 years away from college, who Cal could probably land without coaching the DR. Sheesh, reach much?

Come on, why on earth would Cal want to coach a DR team?? You dont think shady Cal will do whatever it takes to land a top talent?

I think he's positioning himself for the USA coaching job when coach K retires. Also, with half the national team he's coached in college it would give him a huge advantage.
