I agree with the guys leaving. I have no problem admitting that guys like Woolfolk are leaving, but you can't overlook the fact that 4 guys are returning as starters in the defensive backfield. Isn't Countess, who started the last 6 games of the season a returning starter?

I see your blind homerism is overlooking the fact that an 11-2 Michigan team is returning 9 of 11 starters on Defense, 9 of 11 starters on Offense, punter, kicker, KR, and PR...and when I say returning starters I don't mean you look at the 11 guys who started most of the year (and then subtract any of those guys that are leaving, eg., 11 - 3 = 8). What I mean is that you look at the entire roster and find some guys that have started some games (and some that haven't even played this year), and then you somehow plug those guys in to take the returning "starter" places of the guys that actually started most of the games and aren't coming back. So this way you can do some funky math and kind of not count guys that actually are leaving, and magically inflate your numbers. I'm glad I thought of this neat trick and hope that nobody questions my creative math, because of course nobody really measures returning starters this way. I mean, what if we had nobody leaving on offense and Stonum was coming back...then we would have 12 starters returning on offense! That would be awesome!

Still waiting Nigel.
I asked you what a starter is in you opinion. How many games does a player have to start to be considered a returning starter to you? 1, 2,3,... All games?
I gave you my example with Michigan's defensive backfield, do you agree or disagree and can you explain your position?

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

We have discussed this many times but I will humor you again to see if you will actually answer my question in detail, so here we go, again.
Michigan lost Hemingway, Koger, Hyuge, and Molk who started for Michigan throughout the year. This is where it gets confusing for you to understand what Rocky and I are talking about.
At the time we initially discussed this, it looked like Michigan would be returning Robinson, Toussaint, Hopkins, Roundtree, Stonum, Lewan, Barnum, Omameh and Schofield.

Well...I could only make it this far before I had to stop. So you said Michigan was returning 9 starters on offense, so I asked you which 2 were not returning...and you really didn't give me 2 names.
Instead, you gave me 4. OK...that's weird...because 11 - 4 = 7. So, it looks like you're saying Michigan is returning 7 starters (and not 9).
But then you list 9 "returning" starters...which is odd because 11 - 4 = 7 (not 9).
Conversely, 9 + 4 = 13 (9 "returning" starters + 4 "starters" that left). You do know that you can only play with 11, right?

It is all there, but you only pick out what you want.
. Maybe if you would honestly answer these question it would help explain what Rocky and I are talking about.
I answered your question honestly, once again still waiting on you.

You answered my question honestly?
You said Michigan was returning 9 of 11 starters on offense, but then you gave me names of 4 starters that were not returning.
11 starters - 4 not returning starters = 7 starters returning (not 9)
This is just common sense.
How is 9 an honest answer? Your math is a little fuzzy.
