  • I am not saying Saban is not a good coach, because he obviously is. I am not saying Saban is not a good recruiter, because he obviously exdcels in that area as well. However, the biggest key to bammers success in recent years is just good old fashion luck.

It is not everyday you see a star player for the opposing team get injured in a national title game like Colt McCoy did back in 2009. It is also not everyday that you see a team lose to a certain team at home in their stadium during the regular season, get a mulligan on that game, and be granted a second chance to play the team they lost to in a bowl game like bammer did last year

After all this luck, I have become convinced Saban has a rabbit's foot, a horsehoe, or a four leaf clover wedged up the crack of his ass. As long as Saban is able to hold onto whatever object he has that is providing him with all this luck, I believe bammer probably will win another championship. If Saban somehow loses this object, all bets are off

Coming from an auburn fan, that's priceless. 2010 was the luckiest season I have ever seen a team have, but yeah discredit Alabama.

Bama's average margin of victory in sec games last year was close to 30 ppg...except for lsu 1...lsu had the same margin of victory as Bama for the most part. Bama blew out every team last year except 1, had one close call in 09...beat 12-0 florida by 20 and 13-0 texas by 16...not luck, keep trollin.

cam's title aub margin of victory was 12 ppg in the sec, or in that range, aub had many more close calls.

  • How was 2010 lucky? I was say if anything Auburn has been unlucky considering they are the only BCS team to have two undefeated seasons over the last decade and only have 1 national title to show for it

You were lucky that you had some boosters with big cash to throw around and even more lucky the NCAA is the back pocket of those boosters.

I only wish we were lucky enough that our players could afford their own SUV's like the Yukon Denali rent-a trent ,Julio, and numerous other bammer players have been spotted driving around in during their college careers, and we had a booster who owned his own clothing store and could provide our players with hundreds or thousands of dollars in clothes, take our players out to dinner on a regular basis, show up to birthday parties for our players children, and hold autograph sessions inside his clothing store and then sell these autographed items off on the internet. You bammers dont know anybody like that do you? Say somebody like t-town tom.

You serious bro? Let me know when Pat Dye his daughter or anybody else connected to Auburn get convicted in federal court and sentenced to serve hard time in prison for paying players like Logan Young. Of course, I am sure ole Logan's hand picked chronie, Malfunction Moore, is still taking good care of the bammer football program as we speak today
