The one thing I don't understand is having two charges:
Destruction between $200 and $1,000 - misdemeanor
Destruction between $1,000 and $20,000 - felony
Well which one was it? From the report it just seems the hood of the car was damaged.
Either way, a really stupid act and I hope that Hoke handles it once the case it settled (IMO he will settle in court for a lesser charge and do lots of community service and pay a fine).
