Will Game of Thrones go down as the GOAT ?

  • I think it will, unlike many shows that fail it already has a story to keep following instead of making up crap as you go like a Dexter or Entourage or the hundreds of shows that grew stale

    I can't even explain how much I love this show, I have seen season 1 like 7 times now

    The sopranos intro with A3 theme. There are other countries, even other languages, and sometimes, somewhere, they dub films and tv series. Yeah, they dare to do that. That's not funny. It can be weird to hear characters in other languages, that's true, but is stupid to point it out for the umpteenth time.

    Mafia has been done so many times and although there is nothing wrong with Sopranos ( watch it still ) Game of Thrones isn't like anything I have really seen before

    I already think its HBO's best ever as long as it keeps getting better and I can't imagine how it doesn't

    The wife says SOA and the Walking Dead are better. Something about to many sex scenes. lol

    I like Game of Thrones a lot but I'd put Sopranos at #1.

    Your right, the Mafia angle has been worked over many time but never like that.

    Yeah I loved Sopranos and its one of the shows I would say no problem to if that is still your #1

    Im just really into Game of Thrones and Im going nuts in anticipation of these seeing these damn dragons full grown

  • The story only gets better as you move along in the books. I can't wait to see how they do the Unsullied, although that is probably season 4. Season 1 is just the introduction to the world and a starting point of an epic story. If they can pull off Storm of Swords, it will go down as one of the best shows ever.

    Reading the books I think would add to the show. You will know more about some of the characters and where they come from.

    The show now has a lot of expectations and it isn't going to be cheap to produce, I really hope it has the financial backing to finish with teh same quality it has started with.

    HBO has a great history of producing original television

    That and Boxing are the two reasons I subscribed in the first place.

    Now that Boxing is down I'd drop it but I don't wanna miss out on their original programming.

    HBO is the only channel I can say that about.
