POSSIBLE SPOILER****
It has the "Frame" of Hamlet. Sons father is killed while he is VERY young(Might not have been born, don't remember). His step-dad and mother pretty much conspired against him, because his step dad was VP of the club and his dad was Pres. That is how it got started pretty much, it is a really good chow, but i can't say much more without giving away a lot of info. VERY complicated though.

It gets a bad rep for the violence and sex, but Spartacus has some excellent writing. For me, it is extremely tough to pick between that and Game of Thrones

NoVa, you read the books? I just watched season 1 for the first time and had some trouble keeping up with all the characters for a few episodes, but once I picked it up, the end of the season was amazing. Not enough time to watch it a second time before Sunday, but I'm a big fan. I want to read the books instead, but I heard season 1 followed the book almost perfectly. So I'll have to watch season two then read books 3-5 this summer.

Some serious trolling going on ITT.
True Blood even getting mentioned made me laugh so hard I thouhg I was going to suffocate.
The Wire and the Sopranos would be my tops.
GoT has a chance to be right up there though.
You guys just wait. Some serious stuff to come that season one doesn't even hold a candle to.

It just might. I am watching Season 1 for the 3rd time. I am on book 5. All the books are excellent. They are setup very well for the next couple years if they just follow the books.

the books starting getting a little crazy..after book 3 the author loses his touch. I hope they change some things in the show like they did with true blood

Book 4 definitely wasn't as good as 3 (which was the best in the series IMO) but book 5 is pretty damn good so far.

Anyone here ever see The SHIELD? IMO thats GOAT. Sopranos was real good but too many senseless, bad episodes for my liking. Sons of Anarchy is getting good too.
