Will Lamichael James be a good Pro?

I don't see all of the buzz. He was injured a lot, sucked against a real D (us) and ran a 4.5 (I expected sub 4.4 with how much speed love he gets).
I don't know why u would take him in the first but one team will go full retard.

Not as a RB, not even on Offense, but i could see it in the return game..his speed wont overpower in the NFL (everyones fast)

He needs the right team and a coach that knows how to use him. Worst case scenario is probably Darren Sproiles, best case...I don't really know.

Meh
Not an extremely painful injury really and once back in place you are fine
If it was his shoulder maybe but not elbow
I could be wrong but i don't like his game for the next level
Spread RB's usually stink in the NFL

Sproles - 5'6 190lb
LMJ - 5'8 194lb
LMJ probably needs to add a bit of weight to avoid getting wrecked in the pros. Even in college games he seemed a bit skinny to me. His speed and cutting ability will help him out but I don't see him being an every down back.

Sproles broke the NFL record for all puppet yards in a season and gas 4 straight 2000+ yd seasons.
Tough comparison other than size.

His 4.3 time is definitely more accurate than that 4.45 the NFL ended up giving him. Chris Rainey had the same thing happen to him too. I think he will be a good 3rd back in the NFL. Depends on the team that gets him though. Could be Sproles but could also be wasted like McCluster. He’s not “that” small either, and besides some freak injuries this year he has been pretty durable. Him and Jahvid Best are about the same size.

Also james only missed maybe 4 games in three years so the " hes injured a lot" argumemt is weak.
Also had 1700 plus all purpose yards all three years with only a total of 201 return yards for his career and his sophomore year he didnt have a kick return and only 1 punt return. only 3 kick returns and 14 punt returns his entire career. So the majority of his yards are coming on the ground or catching the ball, which he didnt do a whole lot of either.

Because the "live" time is a hand time, it takes a little longer to get the electronic offical time. Not that hard to understand that the "live" time is irrelevant.

I don't get the LaMichael hate. Watching him play live was staggering on how much faster he was than everyone else. Every time I have seen him play, he runs the ball like a demon. With the NFL moving to pass happy spreadball, I think he could be a serious commodity

I would argue that had more to do with your DL/LBs against our OL, then James himself. Very few RBs are "great" when their OL loses the battle up front. That being said at this point I would agree that his potential success in the pros is debatable, but I wouldn't underestimate him either.
He won't go in the first round, Richardson is probably the only RB that will unless I am overlooking somebody.
