My schollie was the same way on the academic side. Maybe the athletes have something written in their scholarships that say if you keep a certain GPA that you still get to keep your scholarship though. You would think they would have something like that.
Whether they do or not beats the fvck out of me. I don't know how you say that you aren't "doing your part" and yank a kids schollie for athletics. Seems like a slippery slope.

I'm not sure I agree with that. A kid signs an athletic scholarship and busts his ass on the field and just doesn't pan out, and you just want to yank his schollie and throw him out of school?
Especially if the kid has say a 3.0 or above academically. Just doesn't seem right to me personally. You would think the institution could at least transfer the scholarship over to academic for his effort. Now if the kid is making shit grades then I'm fine with what you are saying.

Actually thanks for the info UGA fans. At least I have an answer for my buddy tomorrow when it comes to UGA. I also have no idea what A&M's situation is either. They could very well be in the same boat as you guys. Impressive fvcking year for UGA if you really only had 69 players on scholarship though.
