Wisconsin refuses to play Alabama at neutral site

  • I guess they were scared. Instead, they counter-offered a home and home series which Saban politely asked them to stuff it back where it came from.

Somehow, due to the media wishing to create a much bigger story than Wisconsin refusing to play Alabama at a neutral site, which was the original offer, they decide to flip it and go with the Alabama refuses to play Wisconsin angle.

Neutral site games are dumb imo. Michigan and Alabama could be making just as much money with a home and home if they charged anywhere near Jerryworld prices and then each would have the added benefit of bringing money into their town.

  • How do you expect a kid from Mobile Alabama that has never seen snow before to go up to Wisconsin in January?

It sounds like Saban is afraid to play @ Wisconsin.

Right, that is because the original article came out of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin State Journal, to be exact. Of course they are going to spin it their way. The media outlets who picked it up were just too lazy to put it right, or thought it made better headlines the way it was.

I wonder why though, seriously, Wisconsin refused Alabama's initial offer of a neutral site game? I think they were scared that what happened to Clemson, Virginia Tech, and what is about to happen to Michigan, would happen to them.

Wisconsin isn't refusing to play Bama, they would rather play a home and home. It can look like either team refused, depending on what side you look at it from.

Lulz, the game would take place in September, not January.

Our kids just can't suck air into their bodies and function like human beings with all that humidity down South, especially in early September. Our players are more like fat, slow, trudging seals and are adapted to ice and snow.

That makes no sense seeing how Wisconsin has no problem playing in Tuscaloosa.

Saban, with ESPN apparently organizing the effort, made an offer for a neutral site game. Bulimia deferred because he was afraid. That's pretty much how I read it.

Then his bosses told him to offer a home and home, which they knew good and well Alabama wasn't looking for or wanting, just so they wouldn't like like pussies.

Yeah, that's pretty much how it went down. You know a local Wisconsin paper isn't going to spin it bad for the home town boys.

Seeing as how Wisconsin has never played in Tuscaloosa, I'll just take it you are uniformed.

The neutral site game would have likely been in a nice domed stadium like JerryWorld. But, Wisconsin was evidently scared.

So you're saying that Wisky somehow knew that Alabama would refuse the home and home, so they offered to play a home and home series BECAUSE they didn't actually want to play Alabama at all?

That is what you are saying, right?

Though your comment about Wisconsin not wanting to play in the south after offering to play in the south leads me to believe that you are straight trolling.
