Nobody outside of the SEC homers. It was Wisconsin that approached Alabama. They even reported on ESPN that it was Saban who turned down the offer. It's not a surprise really. Teams from the SEC rarely play a team that could pose a legitimate threat.

Alabama beat 3 teams with winning records, played a schedule rated in the 30's by all publications, and still gets handed the championship game. Pathetic. Keep in mind that 2 of those teams with winning records were PSU(lol) and Auburn(Utah State).
