Wisconsin refuses to play Alabama at neutral site

Maybe not scared but, they may have thought they could dictate what was going to happen and thought it was open for discussion. They may not have realized it was an accept or GTFO kind of deal.

I do. Why wouldn't they play a home and home

Because Alabama has openings in the 2015 schedule and 2018, I believe. I'm sure Saban was trying to fill the 2015 slot. Who would want to play a home and home separated by 3 years? That's just dumb.

I agree. I don't think either team is scared to play each other.

The OP though, he is trolling or has issues, or both.

    OP Definitely has issues

Why is it dumb, LSU did it with Washington and west Virginia

Nobody outside of the SEC homers. It was Wisconsin that approached Alabama. They even reported on ESPN that it was Saban who turned down the offer. It's not a surprise really. Teams from the SEC rarely play a team that could pose a legitimate threat.

Where have you been? Saban has lined up one huge OOC game every season. GTFO with that chit.

we could play Boise in Mobile & it would be the largest capacity they played to all season .

And it would be an embarrassing beating for you too.

No, they lunge up teams that are decent to good, but with glaring weaknesses to exploit. Look at Michigan. A glaring weakness under center, and a loss of talent on the line and at playmaker. They play teams that are ranked on reputation. Last year they played 3 teams with a winning record. 3, so take your homer behind back to the trailer park.

Clearly they what the rosters of all their opponents will look like when they schedule the games often times several years in advance.

That is incorrect. It clearly states that Alabama/Saban/ESPN made first contact. Are you purposely trying to misconstrue what happened? Why would you do that?

Yeah, Alabama is a bastion of all that is goodsarcasm Why don't they agree to a neutral site like Lambeau or Indy?? You know, somewhere that isn't in Bama's back yard.shrug

Alabama plays someone decent every year, man

    2007- FSU 2008- Clemson 2009- VT 2010- PSU 2011- PSU 2012- Michigan 2013- VT 2014- WVU 2016- Michigan St 2017- Michigan St 2019- GT 2020- GT

I'd be interested to see Wisconsin's notable OOC games.

They have a very hard conference schedule each season, what with Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern, Illinois, etc... each season. They have to fill their OOC schedule with powerhouses like Nevada-Las Vegas, San Jose State, Austin Peay, Wofford, Northern Illinois, Akron, and Marshall just to survive.

Or six regular season games against teams with winning records, including that damn little dynamo team Georgia Southern. Take you pick. I mean, you could go with the truth or you could go with your intentional troll. I'll take the truth.

Lambeau is such a small, cramped, outdated little trashy stadium. Who would want to go there and play?

  • Alabama beat 3 teams with winning records, played a schedule rated in the 30's by all publications, and still gets handed the championship game. Pathetic. Keep in mind that 2 of those teams with winning records were PSU(lol) and Auburn(Utah State).

You are lying. That isn't nice.

    Penn State (9-4)
    Arkansas (11-2)
    *Florida (7-6)
    *Mississippi State (7-6)
    Georgia Southern (11-3)
    *Auburn (8-5)

and of course, we got LSU when it mattered.
