Natalie Plummer was officially charged with walking in the roadway -- jaywalking, essentially -- though she says the officers in Houston, Texas, who arrested her were just angry that she had tipped off speeders.

If I remember right, one of the state's supreme courts ruled flashing your headlights to warn others wasn't illegal. This shouldn't be either.
If the objective is to make roads safer, I imagine she's doing a good job. Everyone slows knowing cops are around the corner.

Its not Obstruction. There was a similar case like this in the same state that the judge pretty much laughed at when they tried to get her for Obstruction. You are allowed to hold a sign, flash your lights, or whatever as long as you do it safely.

I hope she gets off and sues the police for unlawful detention, but she got what she was asking for, when you mess with the cops, even if you're not doing something illegal, they will usually take you to jail. I, personally, stay as far from cops as humanly possible, they're a bunch of power trippers - not all of them, but most.
