Hate flies too. I have an extraordinary knack for walking into spider webs though, so I hate them.

Especially when your hunting or fishing and they are smothering you. You put spray on and they just stick to you

1. Mosquitos 2. Wasp/Yellow jackets (anything that stings really) 3. Horseflys

Since Spiders aren't really insects and don't really bother me too much, i replaced it. The others are accurate for me.

No gnats do, mosquito spray gets rid of them, but not gnats

Then a yellow fly sucks two taints and a ball sack. I hate those damn things.

for everyone annoyed by gnats and mosquito: put 2 parts apple cider vinegar and 1 part water in a spray bottle.

Definitely horse flies. Those things are monsters in Alaska. Spiders aren't insects btw, they are arachnids harhar.

Do you carry the bottle with you or just throw it at the mosquitos?

3) red fire ants...if you've never stepped in an ant bed and found out about it after it's too late, consider yourself blessed.

I think chiggers are actually considered a mite, but my God, they have to be on some sort of list. I loathe them.

17 year Cicadas are also pretty terrible when they are out.... They get into everything.
