Michigan is a big place, detroit is just a very small part of it.

I live in Indianapolis and while it's a cool town there isn't a lot to do. Restraunts and bars are good but not much outside of that. Plus not selling alcohol on Sunday is the dumbest law ever! I grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland and college in Columbus, way more to do in Ohio compared to Indiana.

I don't know about that? Any state that's connected to the ocean and has beaches can't be that bad.

Texas has Austin, a number of major colleges, a huge portion of the national GDP, and tons and tons of fake boobs.

South Carolina is coastal, has one of the greatest american cities in Charleston, has over 40 rivers in the state, adjacent to the blue ridge mountains, and is the birthplace of barbeque in north america.

Obviously lots of kids who have not travelled itt. Texas is a great state. Hill country is fantastic, food is unreal, it has coast line, good solid people on the whole.

South Carolina may be small but wonderful state.

If I were to pick, and Ive been to 45 states*

#1 Pennsylvania : Really not very close either outside it's proximity to Maryland which is a top 5 in my books

#2 Ohio: CBus isnt a bad town, but rest of that rust belt state pretty much sucks. Cleveland and Cincy are shitholes, and Toledo/Akron/Dayton all suck as well

#3 Missouri: Although I haven't been to KC(heard it sucks though) St Louis is a pit, and what does the state have to offer

#4 North Dakota: Yeah it's booming with the oil fields but thats it. carppy weather, no place to fly away from

#5 Jersey: Yeah it has coast, it has NTC nearby but the crappiest people this side of the middle east.

* haven't been to Maine, Oregon, Utah, SD, and Wyoming so cant comment on them, although cant see anyway those would be anywhere near the top 5 worst

How people put Ohio or Michigan or anyone else before West Virginia is beyond me. That state is an appendage that no one wants. Nobody in the Midwest, South, or Northeast wants to claim them. It's like have a Mississippi or Alabama without the girls. Someone needs to go to Northern Michigan and see where its at.

WV, the closest thing to the third world in the US. No jobs, no research, no schools, dumb people, and only has natural resources to sell to the richer and better states. Driving through it not bad though, scenic place.

Indiana and Southern Illinois are absolutely horrible to drive thru.

Northwest Arkansas is an awesome place to live. The rest of the state is just kind of blah. South Arkansas is the worst, ironically. Maybe bc it touches Louisiana?
