On bad days it takes me an hour to get to school which is about ten miles.

I'm looking forward to getting out of Los Angeles.

Coming back from Florida it once took me 5 hours to get from one side of ATL to the other.

Yeah it was crazy. I remember reading about it at the time.

I commuted from Dayton, OH to Chicago for almost 18 months while we opened our Chicago office....this was back in 1998.

There was a freak (meaning it was late in winter..April I think, unexpected and it hit hard) snow storm that hit Chicago on a Monday morning as I was trying to get to my office in Schaumburg

I hit Merrillville, IN at noon. It was about 60 miles to my office and 50 miles to my apartment I lived in during the week.

I finally got to my place at 1am. Thank God I got gas in Merrillville or I would have been like 50% of the other cars causing more problems. I went straight for the vodka the second I walked in the door.

I take mine back. That is my weekday commute.

I got stuck at the Hoover Dam for more than four hours going back to Phoenix from Vegas.

I also got stuck between the CA/AZ border on the I-10 because of two separate fatal incidents. It was a slow crawl for a good 30 or so miles down to one lane. There was almost nothing left of a small sedan that collided with a semi.

I remember one day they reported traffic backed up all the way to quantico on 95. I got into work at 6:30 so it only took me an hour to go my usually 8 miles. Those who chose to come in late were screwed

Took me about 5 hours to go a few miles coming home from the Jersey shore once.
