Word. The impact on healthcare and public education is disastrous. They typically don't have insurance so they seek medical care from emergency rooms who don't turn them down but have to absorb the cost....really they just shift the cost to hard working citizens. Their children receive a free education but slow down the process for every other student because they don't speak the language. The parents are rarely involved or willing to improve the situation. Immigrant enclaves within smaller communities are the epicenter of drug sale and use, alcohol abuse, and petty crimes. Many of those who commit more serious crimes escape justice by going back to Mexico for a period of time.

And don't ask me why but within the Latino community, sex crimes against women and minors are far more rampant and witnesses far more unwilling to speak up. The attitude I see from most illegals is no interest in or appreciation for the laws or culture of this country. They take advantage of what they can here but their loyalty is still to Mexico.

So yea, drive their illegal asses to the authorities.

Public education in this country is a joke for so many reasons

I've seen a video like that. Some redneck showed it to me. Guy picks up four/five Mexicans standing at a location where they get picked up for day jobs. Dude makes them ride in the back of his truck and drives all bat crazy before stoping at the local INS. They all take off running, pretty funny stuff.

I don't know if people here are illegal or not, but I live in Miami and its pretty frustrating sometimes that people don't even attempt to speak English at all.

I've encountered that rarely down here in my experience.

Driving is a problem, I agree. There are stories in SoCal every day about hit and run accidents who turn out to be illegals with priors and no insurance. A few years ago a freshman at USC was hit and killed by an illegal. The driver's husband and infant were in the car with her at the time. The couple fled to Mexico but were eventually arrested when they returned.

"Adrianna Bachan, 18, a freshman at USC, was killed Sunday when a driver ran a red light and struck her and a friend about 3 a.m. as they crossed Jefferson Boulevard near Hoover Street, authorities said.

Marcus Garfinkle, 19, was seriously injured in the crash and remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Police said Bachan and Garfinkle were walking back to campus when a driver traveling east on Jefferson Boulevard struck them.

Bachan was thrown to the side and Garfinkle was carried about 500 feet on the vehicle's windshield before the driver stopped and a passenger got out and threw Garfinkle to the ground, police said. The vehicle then sped off. "

That said, this crime could have been committed by anyone of any gender, race, or citizenship status and nothing good ever happens when you are out at 3AM but this story is all too common.
