Now....that's categorically false. Saban has been here for 5 full years. He's signed AJ and Phillip Sims. That's 2 highly rated, elite type QB's. Then the conversation went into well, we've won championships with 3 star QB's under Saban before, which we have. There's 1 person in that thread that actually typed "I'd rather have Morris than any QB In the country". Then there's one who said he like Morris as well. The rest are simply saying yeah it would be great to sign an elite QB very year but if we don't we can still do well without them. This thread would be true if it was about Sabans lack of developing great NFL ready QB's but it was about most BOL guys rather having a 3 star over a 4 star.

There is no reason we should be signing QB's like we are right now. We missed out on a 5 star in our back yard and had to go get a player who had ONE offer from another school. GTFO.
The bottom line is our fan base is very uneducated. They live in their own world and assume Saban can do no wrong. Any sibilance of disagreeing with him and you get this guy above. He represents about 75% of BOL and how they do things. If I had to "talk football" with them I would literally kill every single one of them. There really is no point anymore because you can't learn anything over there. All it is is sunshine pumping regardless of whats happening. "Saban just signed a punter that can also run like Barry Sanders" "No he didn't" "Of course you would say that weedline, you hate Alabama. I'm going to laugh when I am right about him and you aren't. He will win the Groza and the Heisman, book it". Facpalm
Like I said, I don't have time to hold your hand and respond 100 times. Just read the thread again. You're wrong and it's sad that you think you're not and defend yourself so vigorously. Good luck to you buddy, I have a feeling you are going to need it.

I can promise you it's not attention. In fact, I would change my handle if it meant I could just talk football and have rationale discussions. But I can't do that anymore on BOL and it drives me crazy. It is impossible to have an opinion that is not 100% positive about Bama without being attacked by the necks. I would not care if it were just like one guy, but it's not. I have at least three guys follow me around and talk shi* every time I post on anything. A few of them are in this very thread. I don't come here to make friends. Lord knows that's the truth because I have pissed off just about everyone at some point. But it's the internet, I don't care what anyone thinks. If you or someone else disagrees and thinks Morris will turn into a Heisman winner fine. But don't sit here and expect me to take the high road when they try and personally attack me.
