I understand that A-Rod isn't very good in the playoffs lately but wow. I would think just about any team would want A-Rod putting the money aside...

His OPS and slugging percentage has declined every year since 2007 - he's a player in a considerable decline. And as stated, he's a cancer.

Can I ask a question? Is it Arod on steroids or Arod off steroids? I'd take on steroids Arod, he was pretty good. Clean Arod isn't elite.

Good question. Are all baseball players POS cheaters like Arod? I'd say during the steroid era, it was a good portion. But today you have a few things to factor. First, there will always be a percentage of players, however small that have integrity and refuse to be POS cheaters like Arod. And furthermore, let's keep in mind Arod was caught being a POS cheater, while others are merely suspected.

Idk how i feel about this As a Yankee fan and somebody who dislikes ARod (person not player). He's gotten worse each of the last 3 years and he hs always seemed to have off field issues. That being said, I was very impressed with his interview the other day. Rodriguez was in rare form saying all the right things. He convinced me to not want to trade him yet, but if it turns out it was just lip service and he's dogging it next year I want him gone.

Have you looked up his stats from this year? He batted .272 with 18 homeruns and 57 rbi's. Pretty average numbers

I'm a fourth generation Cardinals fan. Our franchise wouldn't even let Arod come tour the facilities I bet. Maybe the Marlins would take him if he took a paycut. They are desperate to get Latin season ticket holders.
