I've never in my life heard a faculty member give their opinion about the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. Ever. There is only a vary narrow window of courses in which it would even come up. You're just making crap up now to defend your ridiculous and unjustifiable outrage.

Are you really so dense that you fail to understand how combat vets struggle outside of the military and how scenarios such as those in the video actually might occur?

You military guys are doing a good job of making that video accurate. Stop whining, you're better than this.

First of all, I want to preface my tone is conversational and not aggressive at all, I know context can get lost over text. I want to start out by stating that I appreciate and have a tremendous amount of respect for all veterans and am very thankful for their service. Over half of the people I work with are veterans now, I'm a police officer, and many of the guys I work with are very intelligent and not like the guy in the video.

Seriously though, from being a cop, and working with a lot of vets, I've responded to a lot of calls with vets suffering from PTSD. Most of those situations are calm, but I would say there's a good number that escalate really fast and we are forced to respond to keep one of our struggling veterans from hurting themselves, or others in the given circumstances.

The reality is that most veterans dont have severe PTSD, most don't snap, most don't threaten someone. However, their is a sad reality that there are those who are struggling, have issues sleeping, issues with their temper, and don't have all the resources they need to deal with it. I've seen some of the help my friends/brothers have gotten from the VA, its unfortunate they can't do more than they do, but its sadly a scenario that people have to be ready for.

I understand that you're upset, and don't blame you because you've grown tired of the bs stereotypes. I feel you though, being Middle Eastern and a cop, I get my fair share of typical insults and stereotypes as well. I can promise you this, this video, if you take a step back and look at it objectively, instead of out of anger, you'll realize is just another dumb training video gone wrong.

Think about it....How come in every sexual harassment workplace video it's a female with her cleavage out, wearing a short skirt as the victim? Truth is, workplace videos, with little to no budget that are intended for workplaces suck. Always have and always will.

Yes, please tell me about shit you have no idea about. You know nothing about what you speak of. Veterans with PTSD will stop going to school before getting aggressive or attacking a professor.

I'm also thinking that the scar headed, buck toothed chick in that video would have no problem dealing with your obvious lack of intellect. Y'all would probably smoke a joint on the way to the coffeehouse and then discuss ways that you could appease her overbearing peace loving wannabe beatnik ass over a nice latte. If that didn't work y'all could then discuss the instability of that veteran dude in class and thereby arrive at some common ground in that while you are definitely stupid............you're not dangerous. Both of you would then feel better about yourselves
