I think the issue was people were only seeing there own IP... like one of those sigs that people use like a sniffer and thought others could see it.

There is a long thread over there right now. People pointing out where other posters live by seeing their IP address. That site is a dumpster fire.

I know that's just unbeleivable. Now those guys can just get other posters personal info easily. It's going to get real ugly over there.

No I could see everyones that posted in that time frame. I think they were trying to fix the sig problem and ended up enabling everyone to be able to see everyone's IP that posted during that time.

I doubt it gets shut down any time soon if at all.. they are owned by Yahoo correct? as long as they have advertisers they probably don't care how many people post.

Yeah yahoo bought them a few years back, and lucky and Noah started this site a couple of years later.

Yeah Yahoo read the future of the internet all wrong several years ago. Got rid of most of their programmers, put very limited emphasis on programming etc. They are basically just a place to check email and read the news now. And Google even does email better!
