Don't sugar coat it, Jeff. You guys have been great to play with, but I'm terrible at this game. I'm not saying I was "good" at 12, but I'm atrocious at 13. I've only been competitive in one game since we all started playing and that was our first game when I lost on that dropped TE pass. Since then, I've gotten absolutely dominated by you guys. And quite frankly, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong ('cause it's a lot now) so any and all suggestions would be helpful. Some things I have noticed, both with Oregon and GA Tech:

1. My kick coverage is terrible. Numerous times I've seen y'all field punts with only one guy even close to you. Nearly every time I do there are a wall of defenders in my face.

2. My RBs never break tackles. Jeff has some nice runs up the middle, breaking a couple along the way. My guys go down at first contact every time. RBs, WRs, QBs, everyone.

3. I can't get any pressure on the QB. Even when y'all send 3/4 receivers downfield and I bring the house, I never get sacks. Hell, most of the time y'all just scramble for 20 yards.

4. I can't run the ball anymore. Granted, I haven't played as a power running team in either dynasty, but good Lord, I get nothing done on the ground. I don't know how you got all those huge holes up the middle, even when I was playing with 4 LBs, but that was never happening for me. Even if I went a few series just passing the ball to open up the run game, nadda. Stuffed. Every play.

It's one thing to lose to you guys every time (still sucks lol) but it's another not to even be competitive. I don't think I can afford too many more controllers...

The thing that I noticed with this game is you need to be really balanced in your play calling on offense, and not just pass/run but the types of each that you do. Once you get predictable, whether it is the computer or user, you are in trouble. I haven't played you yet so I can't say anything specific to you but that is a general point.

Well I'm trying to give the option its due so I'll generally stick to one formation on a drive and run the hurry-up as I go. I thought by having the same look (say, just a regular Flexbone formation) but mixing up the runs and the option runs and the option passes and the regular passes I would be unpredictable and catch people off guard. Trouble is, if I get down by too much, there's no time to get the whole thing in motion 'cause I've got to get the ball moving. And that happens a lot because, regardless of what I try, I get stuffed early and often trying to run the ball out of the 'Bone. I tried to use the pass to set up the run this time, per Frank's advice, but my guys kept dropping balls all damn game. Hell, Orwin Smith had a sure touch down on 3rd and goal from the 2 (WIDE open) and he just muffs it. That's two games where I've had wide open receivers drop balls inexplicably against Jeff.

That was a big drop by Orwin. If he catches that it is 20-7

I hear ya Sf it will be tough running the triple option if you fall behind. Thats a big issue with it in real life too. As Jeff said if you gonna stick to the triple option practice using it because you have to master it if you want to be successful. You will come back.

On another note in my game Johnny football started off the game real hot but then got knocked out of the game. Offense played well and the defense was lock down on the way to 52-7 win over SMU.

Any time tomorrow before about 7 is good for me man.
