Carl Crawford seems like a different person in his first interviews. Said he worked on his swing and got his mechanics in order. Already had swings off a tee so he might not miss any time. If he rebounds to a gold glove defensive player with 40+ steals and an 850 ops it could be the best acquisition off the offseason. His .289 on base % was the worst ever for a Sox LF
Also encouraged by Dice K and Bard. Bobby V is going to let Dice pitch like he did in Japan and not try to tinker with him like the Sox have done. They tried to americanize him and pitch off his fast ball. He will throw more offspead pitches and throw more in between starts. Hopefully he can get back to the 18 game winner and sub 3 00 era. Also said he will be back sooner than the media is saying (the break) and has been throwing pens for weeks.
Bard hasn't had any problems with the windup after not pitching out of it since 07. I think he can can have a good impact. Maybe similar to CJ wilsons conversion.
Also it looks like Jose Iglesias is going to get a shot at SS if he can hit enough. His D will go along way in giving the staff confidence.

Oswalt to decide today. Sox, cards and Rangers with the Sox having the only obvious rotation spot for him.
I will say with Dice already throwing pens and likely back around June Oswalt isn't the need I thought he was a month ago. To tell you the truth im not sure if he can handle the AL East and he knows it. His whole way of handling this makes him look like his afraid of competition.
