I know you may not be directing this at me but.... I'm worried about it. I still think we hold on to him but you guys certainly have a chance at him now. I hope he is purely going over there just to have fun and do his thing and isn't considering you guys though. I think we really need him. I would rather any of our commits decide they won't even talk to other coaches but most don't do that. Although we do have a commit that has said he does exactly that in Will Latu. He has said that (paraphrasing) he wouldn't even take calls from other coaches much less visit.

I knew what you meant and was just jerking your chain. No offense taken and hope you weren't either. Most of what I say on these boards, unless it is factual research, etc. Is just light hearted... all in the spirit of rivalry and intrawebs fun.... If you know what I mean.
But I am Good looking and still a stud.

Not going to judge a dude. Sorry... But nice family. Are you a full time pastor? If so How do y'all make money? (Donations) I meant how do the pastors around my house drive BMW's and the people that go to the church drive Kia's, Hyundai's, Fords. Again not Talking about you. Whats up with that? Does a Pastor make $150,000 a year?

I try not to talk ministry on this board, but I am gonna answer this question...assuming you are asking legitimately and not making a backhanded comment. Maybe it will help some others who have issue with this as well.
I am a full time Pastor, and I don't make that. Out of the hundreds that I know, very few do. The ones that do Pastor very large churches. Pastor's salaries are paid out of a portion of the money that comes in to the church. Tithe, offerings, schools, day cares, properties, etc. In most every case the salary is set by a board (denominational or of the church) it is usually based on membership and monies available.
In my experience, the Pastor's that drive cars like that are not different than the people that work for Georgia Pacific and drive cars like that. They spend their money on car payments instead of other things. That would be my guess.
I realize that TV guys/gals have put the ministry in a bad light in many cases and I understand why people get worked up about money, church, etc. I assure you that they do not represent the men and women who work very hard and sacrifice a lot to Pastor and care for their congregations.
Consider this. A pastor is responsible for the supervision, training/equipping, spiritual instruction, crisis intervention, counseling (in some cases), financial and executive administration for staff, employees, servant leaders/volunteers, teachers, families/membership, etc. of anywhere from 100 to thousands of people. How much would they make if they were the CEO of a company with the same responsibility?

Everyone knows how a pastor can make $180,000....have a kid that grows up to be 6'-5" and 250 lbs....then find yourself a bag man. Easy money.
By the way, I strolled back to the ole BB to check things out.....I have only opened this thread so far, but it appears things have gone the way of the Rivals Mainboard (never spent any time on that, but I know the reputation)?
