Better wins + Only loss a day after tragedy + No rematch > Better Loss
If better loss is what matters than an undefeated Boise should have gone to the BCS national championship game vs Ohio State in 2007, but instead they took at Florida team because their wins were so much better. OSU's wins are better than Alabama's

A 6-6 Iowa State loss is horrible and it was at the end of the season not the beginning. If Okie St. goes plan on LSU winning 39-6. Okie St. ranks in the 100's on defense and because they beat a horrble Oklahoma team now you all think they can stop LSU. What a joke. Go ahead and keep wishing for this game. You may as well go ahead and give the trophy to LSU. Their loss would be like us losing to Vanderbilt. If we lost to a 6-6 Vandy team I would be to embarrassed to even try to campaign for a chance to play LSU! This is called real college football logic. But to each his own.

Beat better teams and win at home.
Will Alabama fans be on the side of the next undefeated Boise team because of their no loss or will they think that their wins are not good enough.
And if a co-worker of mine died I would have a tough time at work the next day. You don't think that there is a good amount of interaction between the college basketball coach and the football coach?

First of all I dont think Okie St. will use the excuse of the tragedy, they have to much class for that. A lot of teams have had tragedy on thier teams this year and this is the first one that anyone has suggested a mulligan for a loss due to tragedy. I agree it might affect the coach's but I dont think it affects the players near as much as you want to suggest. Not even going to get into the whole Boise St. thing. Any body who watches college football knows there is a huge difference between conferences.The argument for Okie St. has been very weak so far. Hey Pastor, good to see you up and concerned for the Bama fans this morning. Nothing wrong with bringing up a good point even if it was made by a player. Why are you so worried for us?

I'm sorry for the loss of the OK State coaches, but that had zero effect on the game at Iowa State. I seriously doubt any of the players have actually been to a women's basketball game.

I dont take it personal, its just a message board. I just prefer logical discussions rather than butt hurt type comments. You know the one like the Michigan fan made. Just makes you look bad. But then again it is just a message board.
