Ive been to: Tiger stadium 3x Title town 1x Fayettville 1x Knox more than 10x Vandy 1x Auburn 2x
No offense but by far the worst fans I have ever seen are the ones with the best food. The fans take the game to an uncomfortable level all 3x's I've been there. It seems they dislike everything and everyone associated with their program and every time I leave wondering why they even watch the team they hate so bad. Just my opinion.
Nevertheless, you are correct about the food and if you get a calm bunch they are super good folks and very open.
I can give an arrogant, condescending opinion about most of our young Gator fans as well. However, I don't think they strike a fear of getting stabbed into someone's head.
And I have to ask...what is with all the Trash that is thrown everywhere in the area around the stadium? It really looks like a garbage dump when we leave. Ive noticed on every other campus there is never any significant trash on the ground where folks enjoy themselves. I know that I am never to trashed to walk my happy ass to a trash bin and throw my trash away proper.
Awesome program, awesome coach and top notch facilities. Everything that should be desired in a top flight program so Im not sure why the discord amongst the fans?
The new tiger facility next to the stadium is kick ass.

Oh they throw trash everywhere. When we have games in Tuscaloosa, naturally there will be some garbage left around because there were over a 100,000 people just there. But when LSU comes to town there is trash everywhere..I mean everywhere. Time before last they were down I could hear trash hitting the bottom of my car driving down University Boulevard early Sunday morning.

I am not sure if you meant Todd Graham since we are talking about possible Arky hires, but I completely agree that Grantham is a better DC than Smart. Smart doesn't even run his own D (yes, yes bama fans we KNOW. Saban just sits in a lawn chair drinking pina coladas while Kirby does it all.
). Grantham had a top 5 defense with really just enough depth for a 1 and half deep in only his second year...
That said, please don't mention Toddamn Grantham, we don't want to give Arky any ideas and them actually hire him.

Useless?
Ok, you obviously haven't watched ANY football, outside of Bama, Im assuming.
Which is perfectly fine.
But, you'll be hardpressed to find a hardcore football fan that would give Smart the edge over Grantham.

I actually watched all of Georgia's football games under him. I've also watched all of Alabama's games under Smart. I know people put a lot of Alabama's defensive prowess all on Saban but that's just not the truth. Smart is integral in what we do. Point blank and period is that Grantham has never had a defense as good as Smart has had multiple times. 09 and 11 should show that. For what it's worth hire Grantham. I want Smart as long as we can keep him.
P.S. Colts defenses sucked. Browns defenses sucked. Texans defenses sucked with him and the Cowboys haven't had a defense since the early nineties. So yeah they sucked.

Kirby is good.
No offense, but you really dont know what youre talking about. For one, when he left Dallas they were top 2 in points allowed.
You never heard about how the Colts dline turned it up after his hire? They had close to 60 sacks his first 2 yrs there. (Went from 3-13 to 13-3)
He did suck at the end with the Browns, but that organization hasnt had players for awhile.
Look man, UGA made an awesome awesome hire in Grantham. Look at what he did there in 2 yrs.
Kirby has been awesome at Bama, but Grantham has been solid at every stop. Even when he left Vtech to coach Saban's dline.

I would still take Smart over Grantham. I think both would be damn good HC's but Smart has learned "the process" of college football under Saban a lot longer. I think Smart is the choice.
Seeing as though this is a college football recruiting website, Smart knows a lot more of that aspect than Grantham.
