You know it's good when you look at the other coaches........

  • that surround your school and it makes you smile. I hope they all keep their jobs for a long time. Petrino is the wilcard for me though. Hope he loves Fayetteville, because he'd be scary at next level program like LSU, Auburn, UGA, or even aTm.

I think tOSU and OU fans feel the same way, or at least tOSU might feel that way soon.

  • Petrino to texass would make sense if Mack leaves in the next couple years..

  • Not sure why Petrino would be so scary when he has not proved that he can recruit and/or put together a decent defense. But whatever floats your imagination.

  • Texas will get mad at me but they need to get rid of Mack brown

  • Yeah i agree but for me im not sure yet about some of the coaches that surround us

VT- eh, we own Beamer Ball
Clemson- check, i hope Dabo sticks around
Wake Forest- im okay with them getting somebody else actually... Facepalm
Gators- Im still on the fence about Muschamp cause i like him, he could be a pain in the ass
    Miami- same as above

UNC, NC ST and BC all have coaches i hope they keep around

Who else, Duke ? Who cares

UVA ? London doesn't scare me

    Syracuse and Pitt, meh

We are looking to almost be there but im not sold on Jimbo all the way either

FSU certainly isn't in the same boat sadly, not yet hopefully

Yeah, FSU and Miami will be there again. It's only a matter of time. Fix the OL and problem solved imo..

    Yeah

Its just sad the state we are in there

I thought for sure this would be the year we are back and maybe it still will be

But i think its gonna be Winston or Coker that gets us over the hump in a few years

2013 and 2014 are gonna be good years for the OL unless something crazy happens

    Not sold on this season

But in 2013 and 2014 with Freeman, Pender and Wilder all as upperclassmen we should have no problem running the ball anymore

This is Jimbo's third year right... If the majority of the ol returns that should be a good thing unless you guys think they just weren't any good. I understand what you're saying about 2013 though

Yeah we return good talented kids as starters

    They are just all sopomores

Too young for the bigs dogs like you or LSU

Might be enough to win the ACC cause of defense and ST's and the fact we have the best skill players in the conference but the OL is very young and still pretty inexperienced

    We also have shaky depth

Petrino at Texas would be scary because at Texas you dont have to recruit, they simply come

Thinks Meyer is a great coach and not a butt humping quitter

There is no doubt Meyer is a very good coach and can certainly build an elite team with his eye for talent and ability to spew believable lies to teenagers ( scary thought... All Sandusky )

But i don't think OSU has any idea that no matter what happens the divorce will likely be ugly and a national championship is no guarantee

Meyer will win, but how the man is still respected is this business after the crap he pulled at UF is mind blowing to me

And the thought of a school fresh into major sanctions hires a guy notorious for a vast crime history on his teams is also very funny

I got nothing against OSU, great program

But Meyer is the kind of dirtbag that should be black-balled from major coaching, yet some are willing to fork out millions in order to win at the highest level

And people wonder why college football is one of the biggest cess pools in american history cool

    f@&? Meyer!

He epitomizes everything that is wrong with recruiting today

Just a lying snake hell bent on winning and winning only and literally kills himself like a total physco throughout the process

Also shows a strong history of not giving 2 nuts about his family for the most part

    Come on man

Cause of location alone they are always just a great staff away and Shalala won't live forever

I agree they are more handicapped than their fans believe cause clearly the administration hates the football program and won't let them take questionable characters anymore ( a big part of their dynasty )

But Miami can still compete at the highest level if they stop dicking around and if somebody ever just lets the football be the football program

It might never happen again, but there is no way to know what happens

I do think for the foreseeable future however they are screwed, at least the next 4 years

    I would agree with that

But its mot the end of the world down there yet

signature image signature image signature image

    NoVaNoles

  • its not about talent or Shalala.... its about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

if UCF could ever join a bcs conference then they could very easily pass miami

    I agree with that

The administration rapes them too though

What they need more than money is kids like Leggett, those south florida ballas they pass on cause of academic restrictions

This is what hurts ND so much as well imo

You can't have high academic standards and win national titles in todays landscape iyam

Out of all those coaches the only two that rI'd have any concern about are London [just not at UVA] and Golden. With Golden, alot of chapters yet to be written, but he seems to bring a helluva alot to the table...not in terms of accomplishments, but potential

Golden just has to coach worth a butt and Miami will be alright. The admin never stroked fat checks for coaches in the past.
Some of the coaches were good and some sucked. If he can win some more games he'll get into the ears of the local kids and the talent will be built up in short order. Lack of funding/accoutrements has never bedeviled Miami coaches of the past.
    Their own suck-butting has.
