I've never seen Wilt play....but 50 points and 32 rebound avg fo a season pretty much speaks for itself. And he also once led the league in assist. My team would be darn near impossible to score on....especially with Mamba coming off the bench.

+1 for the asian in the shower

  • I'm going off the beaten path:

PG Lloyd Daniels (greatest player I've ever seen and that includes Lebron, Kobe, Jordan, Magic and Bird)
    SG Oscar Robertson
    SF Lebron James
    PF Dennis Rodman
    C Shaq

6th man: Jordan. Instant offense off the bench when the Big O gets tired of scoring.

btw, have fun scoring against that team! LOL!

Wilt was like Jim Brown he had an advantage over everyone because if his athletic ability amd size. He wouldnt be able to perform at nearly those rates in today's league because I'd the improved athleticism and the rule changes.

As the league evolved physically, so would Wilt's measurements, no? Imagine what he could've done with today's nutrition and fitness. I think I read somewhere that he was also a 25 foot longer jumper and a 7ft high jumper....and also a professional volleyball player.

I've always argued this about greatest ever. Imagine babe ruth on steroids. How about having Jim Brown in a REAL workout regime? He would make AP look like Adrian Dantley. Imagine McEnroe with a racket other than wood.

Wilt was soooo physically gifted it was scary.

Interesting call on Daniels. I have two thoughts about him.
    1. It makes me sad to think of how much more awesome the NBA could have been in the late '80s and early '90s if Daniels, Len Bias, and Ben Watson had reached their potential (and Arvydas Sabonis, though he wasn't around for different reasons).
    2. As awesome as the '90 and '91 UNLV teams were, Daniels could have been their best player. That would have been insane.

You're absolutely correct. Daniels on the Rebel teams would've put them I believe as the greatest team ever. They would've run the table and beat Duke by 40, not 30.

Also, the OBannon bros and J Kidd were slated to head to Vegas as well....

Seriously though, I never in my wildest dreams saw anybody do what Lloyd did in a game. I've seen Kobe, Marbury, Iverson, Lebron and Melo in high school and what Daniels did was on a different planet. Only dude I've seen that can make it go with different speeds.. He can slow you down like George Gervin or blow by you like Jordan. He could shoot like bird and pass like magic. He could go to an And 1 video and make everybody look absolutely stupid or play in an organized game and have the mind of John Stockton. Dude was mind boggling and I'm blessed to have the privilege to see him play live on several occasions down the Jersey Shore league in Belmar. I used to walk out of the gym blank and go drink my face off to try to figure out if that shit was reality or not.

  • Lloyd Daniels played no defense. And he was soft , which is prolly why he ruined his life on the crack pipe.

Bullshit, you never saw him play dickwad. You talk shit about stuff you've never seen.... Tell me the number of lockerrooms you've been in, practices you've been to, clinics you've attended and run, etc etc etc..

I'll start by I sat in Wooden's chair in Pauley and was in the locker room TWICE before two games. One was a bullshit Oregon game, but the other was Stanford when they were rolling with Montgomery.

LMAO he couldn't play defense. He was tougher than snot....
