I actually struggled not putting Simmons in there and I am old enough to have watched him, btw but Alexander was a beast for us. Freddie was a hell of a receiver but Boldin and Warrick were too fast and Dawsey was just a perfect receiver.

Disagree, go back and watch him tear it up against Bama in the Orange bowl. Don't believe the ESPN hype that he lost his job to Henson, not true.

Yeah but Fred is in the NFL hall of fame and Simmons is the greatest Defensive Lineman to ever play at FSU

He has to be on every all time FSU team along with Warrick, Ward, Dunn, Sanders, Brooks, Marvin Jones, Walter Jones, Hudson, Dockett and Janikowski

All those dudes have to be on the team

that's why I said i'm not putting any oldtimers on the list. Basicly the last 20 years plus AC because you can't leave him off. And what other QB would you take over Brady? Grbac? Henne? The only one I would even consider is Denard. And yes that is based on his play at UM, not in the pros.

You won't get any argument here and if I took the time to do a two deep, they would but I just remember watching Alexander dominate OLs. Just my opinion.

If it is based on their time at Michigan I would choose Grbac or Harbaugh over Brady...Grbac would be my top choice. Your entire list seems skewed by how players performed in the NFL. This is particularly true of your LB choices. Harris is a great LB, but didn't do anything at Michigan until his junior year and was only all conference as a senior.

David Harris was a stud at Michigan, especially his senior year. Can you really hold it against him that he was only good for two years, especially when he missed a year due to injury? Tons of greats only contribute for two years. I think some of the earlier players were a bit overrated and got more accolades simply becaus they were at Michigan. Guys like Sword come to mind, or a bunch of the DTs that did their job and were part of great defenses but didn't have the individual talent I would have picked, Renes, ZInkowacz (sp?) etc... Irons was probably my other choice at MLB but I gave the edge to Harris. Foote was Big10 defensive player of the year and was a no brainer for his play his senior year. SLB I struggled with, ended up with Hobson because he was more consistent then Crable. RT I could have gone with any number of guys, especially if I went way back. Just picked a good one out of the bunch.

Besides, haven't seen anyone else put together a UM team ITT.
