    Miami will get Artie Burns on the 23rd.

    Still not sold on that. It's logical to think that though.

    I've also heard rumblings of Jamal Carter committing soon.

    Carter and Burns would be nice together.

    Edit: poster on our board is now saying Carter is set to announce next week as well.

    dude CARE is a program that has pretty much every freaking fine black chick on campus... has a lot of people concentrated in one area and a lot of people come here during that time... black fraternities do step shows and throw parties and ish... best time to come to fsu if you are a black kid and see the lifestyle... its like having famu on campus instead of up the street...

    I have just thought Burns was all FSU up until today's news came out. So I guess im just having a hard time believing it. Lol

    And Carter is a cane as long as his grades allow him. He will likely commit next week. But im not confident yet he will make it in.

    About 3-4 weeks ago the Cane staff was able to convince him that hurdles is an individual sport so it doesn't matter that you're track team sucks. Since then he's been warming to staying home. Now he's ready to end it.

  • FSU should go fairly nuts the next two weeks. I expect FSU to land......

    QB D.J. Gillins ---- 2014 top 40 recruit
    RB Alex Collins --- 4 weeks ago we were starting to cool, now another RB would be prudent
    OL Richy Klepal -- likely a LG for us. 6'4 310 in 2 years

    DE Davin Bellamy --- obviously a 4 star, 247 is effin up with some of their 4 star bubble rankings
    DE Za'Darius Smith -- between FSU and Miss. St. I guess we could lose out but don't expect to
    DE Lorenzo Carter --- 2014 from Norcross, GA
    DT Deadrin Senat

    Others as well, especially 2014, but I feel confident with these.

    Same thing with M.Bain. Our two staffs haven't demanded they decommit because they keep thinking if they visit maybe the tide turns. I guess.

    Collins is all Wisky and FSU and Bain is all Cane. Of course they are both commitments elsewhere.

    Turman has really trended downwards. He's more a skilled FB than anything.

    He could be a solid power back but he's a 4.7 guy without a great amount of wiggle.

    Some people believe Santa Marina has already committed just not publicly. Good pickup if true.

    I heard from a very good person a few weeks ago that he committed at camp in June. Just not public yet. I'm not extremely high on him but do think he has the potential to be good down the line in the right program(which Bama is). Thought LSU would offer earlier this year but our staff just isn't high on him at all. Don't know why.

    Won't disagree with you. When you get a guy like Duke you can afford to bring in "pieces" around him.

    Collins is really feeling Wisconsin and if I was his mentor I'd tell him to go there or Pittsburgh (Chryst) but Sconsin is basically Russia to South Florida kids. I think we get him.
