Your team's ratings on NCAA 2013......

  • fsufsu said...

I edited my OP to take down a couple backups.

Maize and Blue is a 92 for Denard based on his awareness and accuracy ratings being mid 80s and holding him back a bit? I'dsay 94-95 for Denard as a Sr.

I would have the ratings higher myself, just trying to be unbiased and I'm aware that EA won't have the ratings in that neighborhood anyways.

same time it does every year

    Early July

this game blows though, wouldn't spend 3 bucks for it

Sorry, new to the NCAA franchise. Figured it'd be summer again, just hoping it'd be earlier.

I know it suck cause its essentially the same format every year but, heck...it's fun to get a new lineup every year!

It's just a monopoly. Wish like crazy some other franchise could get in on the action. EA just screws us every year. Trying to tickle our ears with a "brand new stiff arm cam!!!!!" or something

The main changes I saw from '11 to '12 was the whole ESPN college gameday face to it. Run game was better and pass game was harder. In '11 you could go 4 verts all day and convert like crazy.

Exactly. You kind of snap the ball and fade back and then throw when you want to.....it's usually after 3-5-or 7 steps.

I mean it looks pretty good to me, I have no complaints or nothing

I guess all I would change is C Jones, I would have him as a 92 I think

Kid is going to blow up this year, he will be what we always wanted Bradham to be in terms of a complete LB

Probably won't kill as many though with brutal hits

  • looked it over again

I would make Pender an 80 and Reid an 87

Also I would boost Jernigan and Dawkins

    Give Dawkins a 94 and Jernigan a 95

I think Jernigan will be our best DT this year and pass Dawkins for that title

I'll be honest. If you told me to predict which LB would earn a "92" this year I'd say Telvin. He was unreal at the spring game. Unreal.

Yeah he was, but his size still has me at odds with that dude

I don't even understand why he is so damn good but damn he is so damn good

He also isn't yet a full time starter

I'm still toying around with some of them... I originally had him at 92. 96 is a little high until he can show me he can create more turnovers... I want to rate Bailey higher though, and perhaps some of the OT's.

  • I didn't know USC's interior DL was that "solid". That is the achilles heel for the Trojans.

Uko is a stud, the others are ☆☆☆☆ guys with not a whole lot of experience... They would normally be about an 80-81 as Fr, but depth is the problem, not capability, especially at nose (although I didn't differentiate). Woods and Tavai play NT, Temple would be the backup I believe.

    My suggestions:

    - Possibly bump Barkley up. Even though I don't really agree with it, they always seem to make the top QB a 99, and Barkley will be that guy.

    - Soma is rated a little too high for a guy that hasn't seen the field

    - Farmer seems too high, but the problem is that if you put his actual speed/acc stats in, he'll automatically be up there. So not sure what to do there.

    - Chad Wheeler should be lower. He's a project. Well... I guess he's already had an offseason, as he's an EE. So... maybe.

    - Marcus Martin needs to be higher than an 84.

    - I think Kennard should be a little higher than an 88, but that's a reasonable rating considering he hasn't proven anything. he has the tools to be in the low-90s.

    - Kevin Greene should not be ahead of Breslin, Townsend, or Williams. I'm guessing he's behind all of them come fall. So he either needs to get knocked down.

    - Bailey should be higher than 88. If you input his real awareness, speed, acc, etc it would easily push him higher than that

    - Robey's real speed/acc/awr combo would get him a better rating than that

    - TJ should be somewhere in the 93 range.

    - Heidari should be a lot higher. I don't think he really deserves to be an 88 or so, but the fact is that he has exceptional leg strength and good accuracy. In the game, that results in an inflated rating. If you don't do that, he'll struggle getting touchbacks or getting the distance for ~48 yard FGs. We know that's not the case.
