It was highlights of Round 1 of the Georgia AAAAA Playoffs in November 2011. I've posted it here before. Walton lead 41-7 at halftime and Tyren Jones had ~310 all-purpose yards and 5 TDs at halftime and didn't play in the 2nd half. Not so much a knock on Lawson as it is more of how good a RB Tyren Jones is IMO as Tyren did the same thing in Round 2 against South Cobb as Jones had about 225 yards rushing and over 300 all-purpose and 4 TDs against South Cobb at halftime as well. He did play 1 drive in the 2nd half against South Cobb, scored a ~ 60 yd TD for #5 in the game and sat for the remainder.
I was at the game and Lawson didn't stand out. I wasn't aware of him prior to the game and honestly he didn't do anything to make me aware during the game. With that said, I did watch his film and he is very explosive and powerful off the edge. I think he will be an All-SEC level type player before he leaves Auburn. He just didn't do anything anything against Walton.
